It all started on a snowy spring day; its Colorado. I was tired of slipping and sliding in my Honda Civic so I decided to peruse the Perkins motor website looking for a automatic, fuel efficient, Jeep with p tired of slipping and sliding in my Honda Civic so I decided to peruse the Perkins motor website looking for a automatic, fuel efficient, Jeep with power locks and window features. As I was amazed at the milage the new 2014 Jeep Patriots provide I wanted to pursue looking further into these vehicles. I collected a few stock numbers and I gave the dealership a phone call. A few seconds later I was talking to a friendly associate named Nichole who was able to get all my questions answered about the Jeep Patriots I was asking about. Sounding like a promising vehicle to purchase I decided to put on some winter clothes and drive to the dealership to really see this vehicle in person. Upon arrival I walked in and I looked at all the cars Perkins had in their showroom. Low and behold they also had a Jeep similar to the one I wanted to purchase. As I gazed in the interior and exterior of the car a sales associate, Ron Booze confronts me and says,'I've come to notice that you seem drawn to this car." I reply "Yes I am. Im looking to buy a new car and I want a Jeep like this one." And that is when the process began. Ron asked a few questions about the specifications I wanted in the Jeep (Power windows, locks, automatic transmission). I didn't want a standard vehicle as my first purchase nor did I want to go all out on my first as well. I was looking for something in my price range and was cost-effective for a Jeep. Ron looked up on his search engine and found a Jeep with my specifications and grabbed the keys so I could get a better look at the vehicle. After taking a look at the Jeep Ron also considered another Jeep with all the specifications I requested just a different model to make sure if the Jeep Patriot was really the vehicle I wanted; and it was. The jeep Patriot was the car that most fitted my description. We walked back in to the dealership and Ron asked if I had a vehicle to trade in and I said yes. I had a Honda Civic to trade in. I was all stressed at the quality of the vehicle I was about to trade in and hoped that it would at least pay for a good portion of the vehicle. In as little as twenty to thirty minutes of looking at the interior/exterior of the vehicle and giving it a test drive I got a quote. Man was I happy for what the trade in value was. I knew then on that I would be able to purchase this Jeep. Then came the many forms to sign and the long wait of approval. In my first experience purchasing a new vehicle this was the most memorable moment of my life. The customer service was outstanding! The staff was friendly, patient, and worked hard to assure the wait wouldn't be too long. And with my trade in car value I was able to get a steal for what I would have paid for without it. So the price was exactly within my budget and I was happy. I would 100% recommend Perkins Motor Company to anyone who is looking for a new or used vehicle. And if you do decide to get a new vehicle I do recommend Ron Booze to assist you in your search. We had a very nice salesman, but not as efficient as he could've been considering we knew exactly what we wanted. They gave us a fair price for our trade after the initial insulting offer. The audio syst could've been considering we knew exactly what we wanted. They gave us a fair price for our trade after the initial insulting offer. The audio system did not have bluetooth capability so we purchased an upgraded system that the salesman recommended and told us fit the model we purchased. The system definitely has the features we wanted, but it looks awkward in the car and doesn't work as well as bluetooth systems we've used that were already built into the system. It took a long time to finally get to talk with the finance officer, but once we did, he was extremely efficient and professional. We were happy that the dealer had a car we were interested in and the overall experience was good. More
