This is the second vehicle I have bought from Perkins and Scott Matela. I think they try to be as friendly as possible and provide customer service. My only comment, while not focused at the sales team, but rather at the dealership, is that they should not include "cheesy" plastic bedliners in a $40,000 plus truck, at the cost to the customer of $399 into the cost of a new vehicle and not be willing to allow this to be taken out prior to delivery and deducted from the sales price. It was explained to me that this is a dealership policy to not allow this. More

I have to admit that the salesman I was dealing with (Jorge) was very personable, knowledgeable and pleasant to deal with. People there are friendly. He took his time to go through all the different cars and figure out what our estimated payments would be so we knew if we would want to trade it in or not. We then ended up with a 2012 Chevy Impala and I am very satisfied with my choice and extremely happy that it was an even cheaper payment then what he originally quoted! After having visited the Ford dealership across the street where the sales person thought he would be funny by abbreviating my name from Wolfgang to Wolf which wasn't a good setup for working together, street where the sales person thought he would be funny by abbreviating my name from Wolfgang to Wolf which wasn't a good setup for working together, I finally left and checked out Perkins in November 2012. Here it was where I was greeted by Scott Matela very friendly and without any presumptions from his side. Scott was genuinely interested in my concerns, price range and assuaged every hesitation I had with regard to the Ram brand. We had a successful test drive but because I was interested in purchasing the Ram 3500 HD for my business my accountant asked to push that purchase out into the next year. Scott took detailed notes without me realizing because exactly after the 1st quarter in 2013, he contacted me with a list of vehicles he had and surprised me with the details he remembered from our first visit. Overall, I was very satisfied with everything at the dealership, the ease of which the financing was handled but, I still like to get a better price, no matter how good it already is. Our salesman, Ray Hayes, was great. His approach was the thing that kept as us Perkins' customers. The one great detractor for the "Overall Experience" rating was the wait to sign the paperwork, which was thing that kept as us Perkins' customers. Mr. Ward was a pleasure to deal with. He was friendly and professional. The wait time on paperwork was not acceptable. I did not like the huge Mitt Romney banner hanging on the side of the dealership during election season. It was unnecessary and unprofessional. I would not have even done business here if they had not had exactly what I was looking for because of the way the owner tried to politicize his business. I found it to be in very poor taste. Bill Ward saved the day though. He gets a 5, the business office operation gets a 2. They were very friendly and apologetic, but there is no excuse for making a customer wait nearly two hours to spend a large sum of money with you. More
