No service was done before sale. The oil hadn't been changed (week after I bought it, the "change oil" light came on), the wiper fluid was empty, etc. I honestly don't think anyone even looked the car o changed (week after I bought it, the "change oil" light came on), the wiper fluid was empty, etc. I honestly don't think anyone even looked the car over because all the other used cars on the lot had the specs in the window and this van had nothing. Also, the 2 remotes that came with the van do not work. Our sales person knew this because when we went to drive the car away, he tried to unlock it and nothing happened. No offer was made to replace at least one remote. He just referred me to the parts department, telling me it was going to cost me around $150 per remote. All in all we are happy with the van, but the customer service left much to be desired and I wouldn't recommend Perkins Motors. More
We drive Motor City every Sunday to see what is new on the lots and decided to go to Perkins were we met Ray and he got us into a 2007 Toyota Tundra with less then fourteen thousand miles. I chose this rating because our salesman Cody Morehead was extremely friendly from the second he approached us (within about 10 seconds of us arriving on the lot). We then saw Don Sack, who was also very friendly and helped us get the best financing possible (which we are happy with). Even tho the salesman would not at all come down on the sticker price it was still the best price we have seen on this new of a car with such low miles. More

Looked at one of your vehicles last night. Their price on the vehilce we looked at was fair, but then came the dreaded news on our trade in. We were trading a fully loaded Maxima with every option known to man, with the exception of Nav. They were only going to give us trade allowance on a base model Maxima. If that wasn't bad enough, the sales manager called my wife's pride and joy a "rental car". Someone better explain tact and diplomacy to these guys. Left with a bitter taste in our mouths for sure..... More
I have been to Perkins and dealt with Frank Claros on multiple visits now. The first time i dealt with him i had brought a friend in to see what his options were for used vehicles. Frank was very helpful multiple visits now. The first time i dealt with him i had brought a friend in to see what his options were for used vehicles. Frank was very helpful, very honest, was not pushy and did everything in his power to help my friend out. I came in a second time to see Frank about getting myself a used car, it was honestly a very easy choice for me and after my first visit with him he already knew what kind of a vehicle i was looking for. Frank has a very good feel for someones preference in vehicles which makes the selection process very easy for the buyer. When it came down to buying each vehicle it was just such a relaxed environment and i could feel no pressure either time... If i turned down a vehicle (or should i say wanted to), Frank would not try to pressure me into another vehicle or the one i was looking at. I also had a third visit with him when i brought a second friend in. She was just looking at what was available and the pricing on vehicles. Frank assured her that he would do whatever he could to find out what kind of financing she could be allowed into. At the end of the third visit, Frank even assured her and i that... even though there wasn't anything she could get into right away... that he would make sure to keep an eye out for a vehicle that is within her liking. With Frank it seems to always be a pleasurable experience and it only takes one visit for him to know what kind of vehicle you are looking for. I would recommend him to every person i hear that is looking for a vehicle. Only place i want to deal with anymore. More
