Overall, I was very happy with the car buying experience at Perkins Motors. Only detractor was the attitude of the guys who work in the glass room. In that time, i have gone through 2 dealerships/salesmen in the process. 1 from TX the other from MI. Looking for a certain make/model on the internet from Hawaii requires diligency and attention since I was unable to personally inspect the vehicle myself. In a nutshell, the previous dealerships were unaccomodating when i wanted photos of the undercarriage. They both said that it looked good so i said prove it with photos. Stall stall delay delay. In contrast, Paul Johnson was not only accomodating but friendly, patient, very helpful, and professional throughout this entire process which has taken roughly a month to complete . Paul had happily provided the photos i requested, assisted and had the Lexus ready for the the independent examiner, who on my behalf, thorougly inspected the vehicle. He also had minor cosmetic repairs done for me, saved me roughly $1,000.00 in fees by getting me financing with them instead of the common competition - the savings alone has offset my shipping cost. All this, and more, was done long distance by phone, text, or email. Paul has been outstanding throughout this process. He was great to work with from thousands of miles away, imagine the service you get in person. Go see Paul if you want someone cut above the rest.
