Buying a BMW is always a unique experience. Our last X5 was in 2002...they, BMW have made some improvements. Our new, 2013 X5, is pretty well done. There are still some things that should be done to make them comparable to other vehicles that we have owned. 1. Pull a trailer...what the xxxx do you mean...People that buy X5's don't bother about pulling a trailer...they just go and buy a room with a view............wrong! The X5 is fully capable of pulling a trailer...so 2. Why the xxxx don't you badger BMW to adequately set up a trailer hitch, with a brake controller so I don't have to do research to get a BMW approved RF brake controller that will not conflict with the existing electronics in the vehicle????? 3. I went through this with the last one, and that is one reason that I bought a Ford Pick Up, 'cause it is set up to tow....buy the way the Grand Cherokee was also set up to tow...but, then you now have that at your place. 4. How come the back seats don't change backrest positions...cost too much??? Speaking of that, the least you could do is get the front license plate adapter thingee to me with the proper screws...actually Marlon is gonna' mail me some. 5. Thanks, Jim for getting me the MSO! Good Job! 6. And last, but not least, Marlon did a fine job of salsemanship...HE DID EXACTLY WHAT WE ASKED HIM TO DO WITHOUT GIVING AWAY THE STORE. Remember Marlon: "If you really desire it, we can make it available to you!" Don't take too much of those earnings to the bank....spend a little! More
I pulled up in a an absolute 25 year old beater of a car and was treated like I walked in the door with a briefcase full of cash. Despite having problems with the BMW website, we ordered a vehicle and discussed many options. There was NEVER any pressure and I dealt with several of the staff each time I came in. They work together and I feel like I have a relationship with this staff moving forward. Marlon is my main sales/support man, but I have no problems working with any of the guys I listed. I have all of their cell #'s and can call them anytime. The finance guy is a little bit stereotypical "car salesman", but the rest of the staff more than makes up for it. I'll keep my business there for sure. More

We visited Peterson BMW due to a problem we encountered with our battery while traveling from Salt Lake City to WA. Chris was kind enough to squeeze us in even though they were fully booked for the day. with our battery while traveling from Salt Lake City to WA. We spent over 4 hours at the dealership waiting for the car to be diagnosed, new battery replaced, and car programmed and initialized. Chris updated us constantly throughout the process and kept us informed. He and several other employees offered to have the dealership driver take us to a restaurant or anyplace we wanted to go because we knew from the beginning that this is a lengthly process. We also made a purchase from the Parts Department. All of the employees that we encountered at the dealership were fantastic. We left the dealership secure in the knowledge that the job was done right. We only wish that this dealership was located where we live. More

I went into the BMW sales department, they treated my fiance and I like we were nobody, despite owning 3 new (2 year old) vehicles and looking to purchase a new BMW. I was told that I was not able to pr fiance and I like we were nobody, despite owning 3 new (2 year old) vehicles and looking to purchase a new BMW. I was told that I was not able to pre-order a vehicle, no pricing was available, and when given my cell phone number and contact information no one ever returned my call. Despite this, I followed up 3 times because I really wanted the vehicle. Each time was the same response and still no one has called me back - I just found out they have the car I want on the showroom floor--I ordered mine from another dealership. More
I have always received excellent customer service and genuine interest in my personal needs. I know many people who have discovered this dealership and would never go anywhere else. I read a previous comment by "unimpressed" and by the way he/she spells, I am surprised that their education level has afforded them the means to buy a BMW. How a person can get better service from a dealer 300 miles away from where you live is qustionable. BMW used Peterson's to base a customer service model on that they used to train sales people worldwide. Contact me for a copy of the article BMW sent me. More
