Service Visit I came in because my service engine light was on due to some warranty issues and cylinder one glow plug module malfunction. They talked me into replac I came in because my service engine light was on due to some warranty issues and cylinder one glow plug module malfunction. They talked me into replacing an AC belt that was starting to shred so I paid for that. They also tried to get a total more than $3,300 in services that after getting a second opinion from a great European motor mechanic specialist they told me they were just trying to milk more money out of me. When I picked up my car they mentioned that one of the other glow plug modules was super glued together and that I shouldn't worry about it. On my way home from the dealership the service engine soon light came on. So I was like What the what! I thought that it might have been something wrong with the work that they did. So naturally I took it back to them thinking it would be covered but nope! It was that super glued glow plug modules and I had to choose to pay $131 for them to diagnosis it, which takes like three seconds or just pay $405 to get it fixed. Unfortunately I chose the latter. As I was reviewing my bill, the service department charge me more than $900 for labor with my total bill being more than $1200 for just two glow plug modules and an AC belt. Thank you for breaking the bank Peterson BMW. You have no reason to rip people off by charging so much for labor because you know xxxx well you are only paying your mechanics $20-$30 an hour. So shame on whoever owns this establishment. The customer service from Jake was great and I understand that he doesn't get to pick the prices that they charge customers. More

Repair Automatic Tire sensor I was getting a Tire Pressure Monitoring Sensor warning on my X5 so I took it in they determined that it needed to be replaced so that is was was done I was getting a Tire Pressure Monitoring Sensor warning on my X5 so I took it in they determined that it needed to be replaced so that is was was done and then they found another sensor was faulty and fortunately they had one in stock, so it was replaced at the same time. Fortunately this was all covered by my extended warranty because my bumper to bumper had run out by two days! Hooray! More

Very professional staff, wonderful waiting area I opted to wait until my car was finished with the service. Wonderful waiting area stocked with nice treats and beverages. Great service that considers the customer (me) first Our 2008 BMW X5 stopped on the side of the road and wouldn't start. My wife called a tow truck and had the SUV hauled to Peterson's BMW for service. Our 2008 BMW X5 stopped on the side of the road and wouldn't start. My wife called a tow truck and had the SUV hauled to Peterson's BMW for service. Although this may not sound like a favorable recommendation for the reliability of the BMW X5 (yes we have had other things fail), there are a few positives that came from the adventure this break-down highlighted. First, the owner's manual is very good, with clear instructions on releasing the parking system so the SUV can be towed. Second, the SUV looks "awesome" even when it is on the bed of a tow truck. Last, Peterson BMW service was fast, friendly and the BEST part is they determined the failed fuel pump was covered by BMW so I was charged ZERO for the repair. Also, while the X5 was in the shop, they follow up on the air bag recall (replaced it) and did a full inspection, discovering worn suspension parts that I agreed to have replaced. So, my four star rating is for the great service not the X5's reliability. I have had a number of costly repair visits to Peterson BMW but with that said, I still love my X5 and enjoy the pleasure of driving a great handling SUV that I plan to keep for years to come. --Clint (Meridian Idaho) More
