Pleased/unhappy I scheduled what I thought was my last 4 year service, only to find out it was not covered as BMW went on the date I purchased the car. Problem with this is I did buy the car in December 2012, paid in full. My son & I designed the specifications of what was to be built in South Carolina. I bought the car from Rich, whom is no longer there. I called in February about my BMW 3, only to find out the order was never placed. I had paid for the car in December and did not see it, take ownership off the car or drive it until May 4, 2013. So basically BMW sat on my money for 5 months until my car arrived. They upgraded it to a 2013 model as they failed to put my order in for several months. I expected my last free 4 years service on Monday April 17, only to be told it went by the date I purchased the car, December 2012. Though no fault of my own, I did purchase the car in 2012, & as I said did not take ownership until May, 2013. I was disappointed in BMW for stating the date I paid but did not have the car to drive off in for 5 months. More

Vehicle did not have a second key FOB or owner's manuals, but we were asked to come back on Monday to pick them up. On Monday when we returned as asked, no key FOB and no manuals. We were promised a follow up call later that day to give us an update. Today is Friday and I have yet to hear from the dealership regarding this issue. More

Multiple trips to fix miscellaneous problems with X5 I had several problems with my X5 related to the tow hitch which took many trips to determine the problem, a little frustrating and then another probl I had several problems with my X5 related to the tow hitch which took many trips to determine the problem, a little frustrating and then another problem which apparently had an alert or recall on the electronic steering column making a lot of noise when it went up and down on entering the vehicle. At last it is all fixed and back to normal, hooray, There was a routine service in the middle of all this that went fine as usual. Some of the extra trips were due to ordering of parts. More
