I purchased my KIA Sportage At PL KIA in motor city and and am happy with it and the buying experience. the only problem with ,was not sitting down and figuring out the payment date and I deal with it eve and am happy with it and the buying experience. the only problem with ,was not sitting down and figuring out the payment date and I deal with it every month which is not pleasant. Now I was in for service recall and my steering wheel locked up and lots of warning lights on dash lite up. They checked took it for 4 service runs to see if it would happen again. It didn't I was quite concerned about driving back to Burlington, Co., where I live not happy they didn't know what caused it and I was alone! More

The service department spent more time trying to negate whatever remaining factory warranty that I had left on my vehicle than they did addressing the real issue. Either that, or they were trying to get me whatever remaining factory warranty that I had left on my vehicle than they did addressing the real issue. Either that, or they were trying to get me to buy a new vehicle. The sales manager asked me when I bought my vehicle... I said July... I obviously meant July of 2020... he raised his voice at me and growled “July when!?!” I am a 52 year old Iraq and Afghanistan veteran who happens to be African- American I did not appreciate someone raising their voice at me like I was a child. Started pointing out all types of things that were “wrong” with my vehicle... even things that had nothing to do with the issue why I brought my vehicle in. I could go on... but to make a long story short... I will never take my car to be serviced at this Kia dealership again. This is not my first bad experience I had with them I was trying to trade in my wife’s Jeep Grand Cherokee for a Teulluride back in 2019 and I scheduled an appointment. When Ivarrived the vehicle was magically unavailable for a test drive. I wound up trading in her Grand Cherokee Overland in for a Jeep Grand Cherokee Summit instead. I will never step foot in that dealership or service department again. More
