I knew what repair was needed and they tried to charge for additional repair that was not needed at this time. Had I not questioned this, they would have charged me an additional $900.00. After I asked wh for additional repair that was not needed at this time. Had I not questioned this, they would have charged me an additional $900.00. After I asked why they wanted to do this additional repair after I knew what was needed, mysteriously, the service tech said it was not needed. It seemed as this service department was just looking to bill for more shop hours. Charging customers for unnecessary repairs is just not good business. Over the last probably 15 years I have bought at least 3 vehicles from this dealer and this incident has caused me to loose some faith in this service department and the dealer in general. More
For a dealership service center, I believe your techs were incompetent, in my opinion. I shared when I made the appt what the problems were. I personally believe the techs should have been prepared for were incompetent, in my opinion. I shared when I made the appt what the problems were. I personally believe the techs should have been prepared for the repair, instead of having me sit in your wait room for over 2 hours only to be told the techs didn’t know what to do. That is unacceptable to me. More
