Worth the 80 mile drive I already spent time at various dealers test driving various makes and models. Then we settled on the color, model, options and so forth. Then we looked up on the internet inventory of possible matches. Found 5 matches within 100 miles. Piazza Reading Honda was 80 miles away. I was halfway there and figured till I drove to Reading would only have 45 minutes tops till I had to leave. But I drove there anyway. I was met by salesman, TOM MILLER, who was outstanding. You could tell he was very, very professional and experienced. I told him my situation, I was shopping price, had a trade in, and didn't have much time. Tom said, I know what you want, I have been here before, I know you are out of town and I have one shot at this, I will give you a good price. Within 40 minutes, TOM MILLER, showed us the vehicle, inspected our trade-in, introduced us to his sales manager (ROB), who was extremely nice and professional, and gave us what I knew right away was a at least a very fair deal. I told him I would be calling back in a day or two either way and he simply said the obvious. We would love to make the deal, just let us know. Deal is good a few day if the car is not sold. With no pressure and professionally. I never had such a great experience. It was right after visiting a dealer (Faulker) who told me he would not give a price unless we would buy right away. I walked out. Glad I did because they already wasted an hour of my time but I still had the 45 minutes for Piazza Honda in Reading! Glad I went there. I always figured dealers would get within a few hundred of each other and I would be fine with knowing I got a reasonable deal. But, the local dealer looked me in the face and told me he can not match this price, he would lose money. He didn't know how I got this price. I believe it really was a competitive price -probably very fair to the customer. The taking delivery process was very smooth and you could tell this was a high volume dealer. Car was well gone over, and everything was as promissed. Tom Miller had everything ready to go ahead of time. I have never had a better experience than with this dealer and salesman (TOM MILLER). Whether you are local or distant, I am just saying these folks are professional, low pressure, great to work with and very reasonably priced. I don't write many reviews, but have to share this one. I walked in and Nancy immediately help me find the car I saw online, she had the Carfax for me to review. They took it to get it serviced at their partner Volkswagen dealership. I have been searching for that perfect car on the internet since the Autumn of 2013. Not sure what I really wanted, however, it came down to looking for a Chevy Tahoe, Ford Explorer, Dodge Durango, o internet since the Autumn of 2013. Not sure what I really wanted, however, it came down to looking for a Chevy Tahoe, Ford Explorer, Dodge Durango, or Honda Pilot -- whatever the best deal was going to be. Matt Stefan of Piazza Honda of Reading came highly recommended by a co-worker. Piazza's website is where I saw a 2011 Honda Pilot for a very good price (I thought). Due to my busy schedule, I lost the chance to test drive the '11 Pilot, because it was sold. A week went by, and Matt Stefan called me and told me that the '11 Pilot became available and asked if I was still interested. I immediately scheduled a test drive and fell in love with it. However, my wife and I did some homework and quickly learned that there were other Pilots available at other dealers, much farther away, with less mileage and at great prices. After turning down the offer on the '11, I told Matt that I found a '13 Pilot with very low miles for just a few thousand dollars more than the '11. Matt simply asked if I would give him the chance to WOW me in a brand new 2014 Pilot -- before I drove an hour away. I did not think that Matt would be able to give me a deal that I could afford on a new car - MAN WAS I WRONG! Matt quickly learned about the deal that I was going to look at, and offered a brand new vehicle for JUST A FEW HUNDRED DOLLARS MORE. I did not have to travel an hour away to look at the other deals. How could I refuse -- a new car versus a used car for just hundreds more, and just a few miles from my home? Piazza Honda of Reading came through with a very affordable deal on an amazing NEW 2014 Honda Pilot. It is a great feeling to have the perfect car for me, and that my search is over. This is my sixth honda! I am looking forward to the great service that I have received in the past from Piazza Honda of Reading. I drove to Reading PA from Fredericksburg VA (about 3 1/2 hours) to examine and potentially purchase a used Honda. The price was also about $1500 dollars less than what I could find a similar Honda for in my area. Upon arrival, the vehicle looked to be in excellent condition, as promised. The paperwork was completed within around 2 to 2 1/2 hours and I was on my way home. Notably, Matt helped drop of my rental car so I could drive the newly purchased vehicle home. Matt really made an impression, as he was, from my experience with him, true to his word - he held a vehicle for me, the vehicle was in the condition he described over the phone, and he assisted me in dropping off a rental car. In addition, he was flexible, offering to accommodate some special circumstances. I went to this dealer just to check what they got. My mind was pretty much made up to buy another brand. They did such a good job, understanding my needs and trying to provide me with a deal that I can't mind was pretty much made up to buy another brand. There were no games, they delivered exactly what they promised and they took care of lots of details that normally other dealers won't bother dealing with (such calling the insurance). Kudos for Piazza Honda and specially Yvonne and Bob. More
