Piazza Honda of Springfield responded

Customers claim was reported and written by Erie insurance (Rick Rullo) in June of 2011, customer did not schedule repairs until March of 2012. Repairs includes damage to the rear bumper cover (causing replacement) and very minor damage to the right side panel just above the rear bumper ($998.77) repair. Job went well with no problems including the customer, until late June 2012 customer came back stating she didn’t believe we fixed all the damages. The customer pointed at damage, what appeared to be prior rust damage that had touch up paint over top of it and the location of the damage was towards the front of the rear wheel well (4 feet from where the impact occurred). I (Paul) asked customer if she minded coming back the next day, when the technician that worked on it would be here and she said “no problem”. The next day when I (Paul) had my technician look at it, he remembered the job and stated that he put touch on the spot which was prior damage starting to rust (obviously prior damage due to the state corrosion) just to make it look better and to help the customer out. Out of good will to the customer, I (Paul) offered to take care of the problem for the customer at no charge to her, but just wanted her to understand the situation. I (Paul) scheduled customer to come in based on her convenience, when that day came for her to drop off her vehicle, she did not show up. I (Paul) called the customer to remind her of her appointment, she answered and said due to a medical issue with her foot she could not drive the vehicle to get here. I (Paul) offered since she couldn’t drive to send two employees to pick up her vehicle, due the repairs and then return vehicle to her house and she declined all offers.
