Happy with the dealership, but a little annoyed with Ford. My brand new 2016 Ford Transit cargo van, purchased at Plantation Ford, on 12/31/15, broke down, due to a faulty throttle body, after only 4,000 miles My brand new 2016 Ford Transit cargo van, purchased at Plantation Ford, on 12/31/15, broke down, due to a faulty throttle body, after only 4,000 miles on the odometer. The dealership did what they could to help me, but the replacement part was backordered at Ford. I was provided with a temporary vehicle, while my van was on the lot, awaiting parts. I am thankful for that. However, Ford could not loan me a vehicle of equal size and capability (another full-size cargo van). I bought the van, because I need that size vehicle for my business. I had to rent a van myself, from U-Haul, for several days, at my own expense. I think Ford should figure out a way to provide a vehicle of equal size and capability, to a person in my situation, when my brand new van broke down, due to faulty original parts. I appreciate that the dealership did everything they could to help me, while they waited several weeks, for the replacement parts to come in from Ford. More
DISAPPOINTED , VERY HURT & DEEPLY SADDENED. I OWN A 2014 FORD FUSION SE I LOVED MY CAR UNTIL .....THURSDAY AT 5:30 MY CAR JUST STOPPED WORKING I CALLED FOR A TOW AND FOR A RENATL SERVICE TO MEEY I OWN A 2014 FORD FUSION SE I LOVED MY CAR UNTIL .....THURSDAY AT 5:30 MY CAR JUST STOPPED WORKING I CALLED FOR A TOW AND FOR A RENATL SERVICE TO MEEYT ME AT FORD SERVICE EVERYTHING HAPPEND SO FAST BUT THANK GOODNESS BECAUSE RENATL PLACE WAS CLOSING AT 6PM AND FORD SERVICE WAS TO CLOSING A SEVICE EMP HELPED BUT RUSHED ME ON ABOUT MY WAY DIDNT LIKE THAT MUCH ONLY WAS WORRIED ABOUT A WARRENTY THAT I DO HAVE 5 DAYS GO BY I HAVE HERD NOTHING ABOUT MY CAR I CALL UP TO FIND OUT THE SERVICE EMP ASKS THAT I GET TO THE POINT 3X HE HAS A LINE AND IS CLOSING I ASKED THAT WE NO LONGER WORK TOGEATHER AND THAT I DEAL WITH MANAGEMENT AT THIS POINT I REALLY NEED MY CAR BACK AT THIS POINT MY WARRENTY NO LONGER COVERS THE COST OF THE RENATL AND IM BEING TOLD I CAN HAVE MY CAR TOMRROW WELL THAT MAKES DAY 6 GLADE TO HAVE MY CAR BACK SEVRVICE EMP GUY WAS THERE BUT HAD NO WORDS FOR ME AND MANAGEMNT TOOK MY PAYMNT AND SET ME ABOUT MY WAY ..NOW THIS IS THE DISAPPOINTMENT PART I CALL TO MAKE A PAYMNT ON MY CREDT CARD THAT I USED FOR THE CAR RENTAL ONLY TO FIND OUT IV BEEN CAHRGED UP FOR THAT BILL AND THE WRRENTY PAID THAT OVER TO FORD WHO NEVER CALLED ME TO TALL ME AFTER HAVING MY CAR BACK FOR A WEEK IM STILL DEALING WITH FORD SERVICE I CALL BACK FORD AS TO WAY THEY HAVE A CHECK OF MINE AND NEVER MADE CONTACT WITH ME TO EXPLAIN ALSO CALLING THEM AND THEM NOT CALLING ME THATS REAL POOR COMING FRM THEM THIS IS MY 4TH FORD VEHICLE I TALK THIS MATTER OVER WITH THE WARRENTY COMPNY THEN WITH FORD ...FORD MANAGEMNT SAYS THAT THEY WILL HAVE A CHECK CUT FOR ME BUT IT WON'T BE READY UNTILL MONDAY OF NEXT WEEK REALLY A WAIST OF MY TIME ...MONDAY IS HERE AND NO CALL ALL DAY TUESDAY AFTERNOON I CALL TO SPEAK WITH GM NOW GM ASSISTANT HELPS ME AND NEEDS TO CALL ME BACK TO GET TO BOTTOM OF THIS SHE CALLS ME BACK WITH GM ON THE PHONE WHAT A SHAME ALL HE SAYS IS MY CHECK WILL BE READY LATER AROUND 5PM AND WE FIRED THE SERVICE GUY WHO 1ST HELPED ME I WAS SO DEEPLY SADDENED AT THAT POINT AND FELT LIKE THAT WAS MY FAULT AND HOW COLD THE GM OF ALL PEOPLE APOLIGIZE TO ME FOR THE INCONVENIENCE AND SAYS WELL WE FIRED HIM AS WELL ...8( 8( LIKE THAT WHAT I ASKED FOR OR WANTED ..NOW I HAVE TO SHOW MY FACE AT THIS LOCATION WITH MY KIDS AFTER ALL THIS AND WITH IM SURE THIS PERSONS CO WOKERS ALL AROUND ..I PARK MY CAR ACROSS THE WAY AND PUT MY SUN GLASSES ON AND PREP MY KIDS FOR ARE WALK OF SHAME ONLY TO PICK UP WHAT WAS ALRDY MINE AND TO LEAVE FEELING SO SICK THAT A PERSON A FATHER OR A BROTHER HAD LOST THERE JOB BECAUSE OF ME AND NOW WHERE TO GET MY CAR SERVICE AT BEING THAT PLANTATION FORD IS ONLY 10MINS FROM MY HOUSE ..THINKING I SHOULD CAHNGE THE MAKER OF MY VEHICLE AND NOTIFYING ALL I KNW ALL ABOUT FORD SERVICE. Plenty of space to sit and wait. The wait was made more comfortable by the high speed internet. I was able to work without any issues. I walked away feeling that Plantation Ford is very professional and invests in technology to make the customer experience more pleasant. More
