Mr. Lanton, I am sorry you feel this way about the Plaza Motor Company. I understand that you traded a 2001 C320 and purchased a 2004 E320 that was sold As Is/No Warranty and passed its safety inspection before the sale. The vehicle you purchased had 115,219 miles on it which puts it out of the parameters of the 30 day or 1,000 mile limited warranty. Brake pads or rotors would not be covered under that warranty. I had you come into the shop to take a look at it personally with a service tech. The back brakes were okay and the fronts could be replaced sometime down the road but not at that moment. I went ahead and replaced the front brakes and rotors for you to your satisfaction. We would be more than happy to discuss your check engine light with you as this is the first our Service Manager and I have heard about this particular issue. You may contact me at (314)919-8310.
