Of each of them, the best experience we've had took place a few days ago. Richard Slater was our sales agent, and he gave us the information, counsel, space, and assistance that made this our best auto buying experience ever. We never felt like we were being sold a car, we truly felt like we were being respected, assisted, and treated as a potential customer but valued patron of their facility. Richard made my wife and I feel at home, gave us the space we requested, and helped us as we requested and needed. He was professional and courteous and treated us not only like a customer but...well like family. Isaac Hawkins handled our paperwork and he too was...in a word...awesome. He and Richard worked with us until about midnight (it was a busy evening) and both were personable and courteous throughout the entire evening. Olga Kerry brought a whole new meaning to the definition of excellent customer service. She has far exceeded my expectations. We have negotiated the “out the door price” over the phone and when I arrived, she had EVERYTHING, ready for me, just a couple signatures and I was on my way with my new car and I got a better price than all the other dealerships in the area (to include those out of State). The other staff members that I interacted with (to include the Sales Manager “Tim”) also gave excellent customer service. Though my interaction with him was just for a simple inquiry, not haggling back and forth. In fact, this was the first time I ever bought a new car and the sales person did not have to go back and forth with the manager while I sat and waited (Olga already did that as I was driving to the dealership). The facilities are great for the entire family. They offer a quiet room with multiple PCs available to use, massage chairs, and a kids play room, and to top it all off,… free Lattes! Great Folks! I have purchased three vehicles from Pohanka over the years. They have always been great to deal with. This purchase in particular impressed me. I started with Olga who took the time to contact me and discuss my options over the phone. Not being in the office at the time I wanted to come in, she scheduled an appointment for me with Dana Wheaton. Upon arriving at the dealership, Dana was ready and waiting. There was none of the "well I'm with someone give me a few minutes and I'll take care of you". Dana was pleasant and great to work with through the process. He was quick, efficient, and easy to work with. I next signed my paperwork with Isaac Hawkins. Again, Isaac was very efficient, and friendly as we went through all of the paperwork. I didn't feel the pressure to buy options like I have in the past at other dealerships. Pohanka is an honest, tell it like it is dealership. I hope to buy many more vehicles from them in the future. My wife and I had every intent to purchase a new car but due to our baby's health, we were having a difficult time trying to get a car. Despite the numerous days of conversation back and forth with Richard, I was amazed of his patience to wait for us to contact him. Then when I finally met him, I knew he was going to sell me a car because of his approach of understanding my desires for a new car, the budget for the car we needed, and the ability to just make us feel comfortable with the entire sale process. His thorough knowledge of the Honda Accord was impressive and you can tell he was a Seasoned Veteran with an Enthusiastic Passion for Cars. His Sales Manager, Mark Russ was also an impressive fellow who was willing to get the job done to sell us this car. The Finance Manager, SEBASTIAN HOODLESS, had Very Thorough Knowledge of the Contracts which we had to sign and his Impeccable Detail of Explanation further enabled us to sign the contracts without feeling loss. He patiently allowed us to read the contracts (because we like reading, especially contracts), and at the same time he thoroughly explained to us what we were signing. We just felt enlightened and his attention to detail has given us the Vote of Confidence in this group. Therefore, Kudos to RICHARD SLATER, SEBASTIAN HOODLESS, MARK RUSS, and company!
