Let me start off by saying that they gave me a great price. I checked with several other dealerships in the Northern Virginia area and the price offered to me by Pohanka Honda of Fredericksburg was the price. In fact, it was the best without even having to negotiate. I did use truecar.com, but other than that they just gave me great prices compared to what others were offering. For the most part, I did not feel as if it was a high pressure sale which appealed to me as well. I talked on the phone before driving in as it was about an hour to an hour and a half away for me depending on traffic. I showed up to look at the car and get some accessories added. I went down to finalize the sale and pick it up two days later. I interacted primarily with Mr. Isaac Hawkins, but there were a few others who were involved as well. The whole time everyone was very friendly and worked with me to make sure I got what I wanted. I'd definitely recommend them to others in my area (Fairfax) regardless of the commute. More

About one month ago , we traded in our pathfinder and we needed a new family SUV. After weeks of looking at all the premium SUV's we decided on the Honda Pilot Touring, for our family. After pricing the vehicles, and test driving several, we were convinced that the Pilot was the vehicle for us, now it was just a matter of price AND customer service. Several of the dealerships near Dulles, were very.......... lets say nonchalant about the potential of gaining our business. Not so with Pohanka of Fredericksburg. They earned our business with hard work, honesty and made us feel that our business mattered to them. Greg Altman, Bill Hamilton and their entire team were awesome. We spent 6 hours there, and left with a Pilot Touring that had 3 miles on it. It drives great and the service and attention to detail from the Pohanka team was unbelievable. They took the time to explain everything, about the process, and they went through every option. They would not let us leave until we were completely satisfied and happy with what we purchased. I left there and felt like Bill Hamilton was a friend from the old neighborhood, though I had only met him that day. The experience was so positive, and the quality of the vehicle was so impressive that 3 weeks later I purchased a new 2013, Honda Civic for my kids, from my new "old friend" Bill Hamilton. Honda's are great vehicles and the reliability and quality of the vehicle speaks for itself. But if you are looking for that personal touch, that feeling that your business and opinion matters, then go to Pohanka of Fredericksburg, you won't be disappointed. 2 new cars in one month, and I have not regretted either purchase for a second. Wherever I am living,when it is time for another vehicle purchase, I will make the drive to buy from this place. They are that good, and the experience was that great. More

Surprisingly, he was just as friendly and easy going as Bill. Neither were the "sharks" that are too common at car dealerships. Overall, this was the most pleasant buying experience I have had at any car dealership to date. Low stress, reasonable price and I didn't have to spend the entire day at the dealership haggling. Bill was knowledgable about the vehicle, responsive to my questions and was very personable. I have had my past vehicles, a Honda Odyssey and Acura TL, serviced at Pohanka for several years and my interaction with Service personnel was always positive. It was an easier decision to purchase a vehicle from Pohanka. Maureen, Joey (Finance) and especially Bill's professionalism made it a painless experience. I highly recommend this dealership. More
