Ken was very personable and provided the necessary highlights on vehicle with a 1000 highlights, the Odyssey. No bait and switch, which was very nice given we had to drive 90 minutes 1 way to get there. Price beat out other dealerships I contacted by between 1500 and 2000 dollars. All the employees were friendly. Especially nice was when my wife's vehicle (not the one we bought) had a flat on the way home and Troy ? drove me via courtesy shuttle some 11 miles away so I could go change the flat on the car. He even helped with with the car jack and putting the tire on. He then returned me to the dealership so I could finish the paperwork. More
Fantastic experience. Turned the buying experience from a painful process to an efficient event. I'd go there again in a heartbeat. Ken made the entire sales process a breeze. After only a few phone calls with Ken, I visited the dealership and was ready to purchase after the first test drive. They were quick to correct an alignment iss few phone calls with Ken, I visited the dealership and was ready to purchase after the first test drive. They were quick to correct an alignment issue and were very courteous throughout the entire process. The financing process went rather fast as well. I would definitely recommend Pohanka to anyone looking to buy a used or new vehicle. More
The salesman Jarrod Stringer was exceptional from our first internet contact to the final sale and pickup. He went above and beyond to acquire the specific vehicle I wanted. His knowledge of Honda vehicl first internet contact to the final sale and pickup. He went above and beyond to acquire the specific vehicle I wanted. His knowledge of Honda vehicles is superb and it is obvious he takes great pride in his professional knowledge and customer service. He provided information in a way that was useful without being a hard sale and made the entire process much more pleasant than the experiences I have had at other dealers. I would definitely recommend Jarrod for anyone looking for a vehicle at Pohanka Honda. More

I had a great experience buying my new Honda Fit from Bobby and Maureen. They were both friendly, courteous and answered all my questions directly, while offering me the lowest price (trust me I look Bobby and Maureen. They were both friendly, courteous and answered all my questions directly, while offering me the lowest price (trust me I looked across 3 states!) and no nonsense. Every promise they made to me concerning price and timing was kept, with no surprises when I showed up to make the purchase. Unfortunately, I had to go through a lot of really shady dealers (one actually called another dealer pretending to be my cousin to get info on me--capitalizing on my last name and his accent I might add!) before I figured out that Bobby and Maureen are the real deal. It was so simple to talk to reach them over the phone, and they made themselves extremely available, even after hours, which I really needed given my work schedule. They won't try to sell anything that you don't need and they really listen to exactly what you want and do everything they can to get it for you at the best price. The exact car in the color I wanted was really hard to find, but they had it on the lot a few days after I called--and I bought it 24 hrs later. Bobby and Maureen are great people and they have entirely earned my trust. I would not hesitate to buy my next car from them as well. My entire goal in writing this review, which I never usually bother to do, is to 1) save tired buyers like myself from the enormous amount of deceit ("we'll beat any price--just bring it in!" or lifetime warranties--which by the way, they tack on to the price and you can buy anywhere ) and nonsense, and to 2) thank Bobby and Maureen for honesty and a simple sale! I love my new car and couldn't be happier with Pohanka Honda. More
Great car purchasing experience! Hondas are great, reliable vehicles (I have 160,000 miles on a 2006 Honda Element with no corrective maintenance every required!). And this dealership matchs that won reliable vehicles (I have 160,000 miles on a 2006 Honda Element with no corrective maintenance every required!). And this dealership matchs that wonderful Honda service. Everyone was informative and helpful in making the optimum purchase, working the trade and finance. Did not feel pushed/pressured, but staff answered all questions, and let my wife and I make the decisions at our own pace. Felt like dealership was more than fair on value of trade-in. Demonstrated all features of the vehicle before we left the lot. I definitely would recommend to anyone and will return for preventative maintenance and any future purchases. More
On Monday, April 23. 2012 I took my car to the dealer because I had a flat tire. The temp spare was mounted on the car and the flat was in the rear of the Pilot. I checked in at the dealership with Mi because I had a flat tire. The temp spare was mounted on the car and the flat was in the rear of the Pilot. I checked in at the dealership with Michael Hut at the Service Department and headed to the waiting area. Shortly after Michael returned with some bad news, the tire could not be fixed, there was a nail in the sidewall. I asked Michael if they had any in stock and was told they were and the cost was about $260. I asked him to have the tire replaced. Maybe 20 or so minutes passed and Michael returned to tell me that my vehicle was ready. He escorted me to the cashier, I paid and headed to my car. For some unknown reason I didn't bother to check the tire or anything. I guess I assumed this was a typical tire replacement. What could go wrong, right? I do take some of the blame for not checking things before I left, that was foolish on my part. Anyway, when I get out at home I realize they installed the wrong tire, same brand, same size, but totally different tire tread and model. I couldn't believe it. So now I decide to look in the back to see what they did with my spare assuming that they would remount it under the vehicle. I open the back hatch and there it sat, just tossed in the back of the vehicle, no plastic or paper under it. Just a dirty spare tossed in the back of my three month old Pilot. I was floored, never in my life did I ever experience anything like this before. This is my first Honda, I owned mostly Toyota all my life. The buying experience was great, the dealership even though it is out of the way was tremendous. The staff seem pleasant and helpful but so far the service department as far as repairs go leave a lot to be desired. This is only my second time to the Service Department. My last visit was to get a Honda Remote Start installed that was part of the purchase agreement. Since it was installed my moon roof doesn't close without assistance. I didn't have time to wait to get it fixed so I have to try to get that done some other time. Correction it works sometime. Let me get back to the issue. I called Michael once I got settled and relaxed a little. Michael apologized and I asked him about me bringing it back tomorrow night and he said that would not be a problem they would fix it. I went back after work on Tuesday (today) and Michael wasn't in I met with another Service Manager. He apologized and got me checked in, they replaced the tire, this time with the right one and properly placed the spare back in the under carriage storage. To further set me off, I get one of those Thanks you dealership emails that tell you to let them know if you have any comments about the service experience. Obvious I did, so I replied and after over two weeks I get this as a response. "I sat down and spoke with our service manager about your visit. We wanted to apologize and let you know that is not how we normally conduct our business. Both the technician and the service advisor have been spoken to. We look forward to seeing you again in the future." I honestly don't know what I expected, maybe a more meaningful apology. I spent an hour and a half to two hours on two separate work nights to get a simple tire fixed. More

Rodney J. Hairston, my leasing consultant, treats people with courtesy and respect. It was a pleasure dealing with him. He helped me trade in a 2009 CRV LX for a 2012 CRV EX-L. After receiving a lease with courtesy and respect. It was a pleasure dealing with him. He helped me trade in a 2009 CRV LX for a 2012 CRV EX-L. After receiving a lease offer from Landmark Honda a week prior, I traveled an hour from DC due to my rapport with Rodney. Rodney's sales manager, Chad Hiner, assured me over the phone (through Rodney) that they would give me the monthly lease price I was looking for. However, when I arrived Mr. Hiner claimed that a small dent on the tailgate of my 2009 CRV would adversely affect its trade-in value, and on those grounds he made me an offer $40 higher than the price I wanted. Rodney effectively communicated to Chad that I thought that was nonsense, and Chad quickly returned with an offer that was $35 lower. When my current lease expires, I will likely do business with them again. Having found an honest man like Rodney in a car dealership of all places was a most pleasant surprise. More
