After searching for the right vehicle for over 6 months I decided on the CR-V. I used AAA for an internet pricing certificate (discount) and was directed to several dealerships including Pohanka. I had not decided on color inside or out and Wes was very accomodating when it came to locating different vehicles for me to do some comparisons against. Throughout the entire process Wes explained details in a clear, consistent, factual manner without applying pressure or personal opinion. My husband and I did our homework--we gathered quite a few quotes on new Accords. Barabara Barlow and Pohanka wowed us in every way. Their offer was quite a bit lower than all the Honda dealerships. But were we going to have to drive to Fredericksburg from Northern VA to get this great deal? No. Barbara offered to drive the car to us after all the negotiations were done! This was above and beyond the call of duty to us. In contrast, we had tried several months ago to negotiate a deal with the closest Honda dealer and were very disappointed in their unwillingness to honor an ad they had run in the paper. Unfortunately, someone got there just before I arrived and snagged it, so I had to wait for a new car to be delivered about a week later. We handled all the paperwork, financing, and everything up front so that once the car arrived, I literally showed up and got the keys, got a quick tour of the car, and hit the road. Jay was very accommodating and clearly wanted to make the experience as easy as possible for me. I never felt like I was getting the stereotypical "car dealership" treatment from Jay. He was a straight shooter and I appreciated that. I utilized USAA's car buying service to get an amazing price on the car and there was no haggling. If you're a member of USAA I highly recommend using their service and going to Pohanka to get your car. More
