Living in Fredericksburg and looking to further a career in northern Virginia those were three things of importance. I came to the conclusion, after researching the 2011 Hyundai Elantra Limited, that Hyundai was the car brand I was interested in purchasing. So I went down to Pohanka Hyundai of Fredericksburg to see what kind of a car deal I could get on a new car. I already knew the price range of the Hyundai Elantra Limited and the amount of money I was willing to pay. However, I was unclear as to if the two were going to match. After arriving at Pohanka, with my mother, mere seconds later Bill Hamilton introduced himself. From that moment on he made all my worries subside with his charm and confidence. He let me test drive the vehicle I choose for as long as I needed to make sure that I was comfortable with how it handled on the highway as well as in the city. When we arrived back at the Hyundai dealership, Bill knew how much my heart was set on the car and the price of my budget. When the day ended, I no longer saw Bill Hamilton as the sales associate that approached me in the beginning but more as a friend who invited me into his home (office). His knowledge, dedication, and caring attitude is undoubtedly the only reason I walked away relaxed and extremely happy in my brand new Hyundai 2011 Elantra Limited. I would recommend that if you are in the area or looking to buy a Hyundai online, call and ask to speak with Bill Hamilton. I went in to purchase a 2011 Sonata SE. Ken was professional, friendly, honest, and very knowledgable. My wife and I were recently thrown into the "New Car" hunt when her car was totaled during a freakish rain storm in Virginia Beach, VA. The first place I go when looking for new car prices is to the USAA Auto Circle web site for members of USAA. I spent a week researching different models and test driving the ones I thought needed a closer look. In the end we settled on the 2011 Hyundai Sonata Limited. The Auto Circle search tool showed 3 "USAA Certified" Hyundai dealerships within 150 miles of my zip code. Two were in Virginia Beach less than 10 miles away, and the third, Pohanka Hyundai, was 150 miles away in Fredericksburg Virginia. Pohanka Hyundai was flagged as having the lowest price in Virginia on the model we were looking to buy. I took the information to the two dealerships in Virginia Beach and neither one could (or would) match Pohonka's price. I got in contact with Ms. Elina Noce, Internet Sales Associate at Pohanka Hyundai on Friday October 15, 2010 to see if the price I was seeing was correct. She assured me that it was. We discussed the details such as interior and exterior colors, options and so on and within two hours she located the exact car we were looking for. Now came crunch time. Would this end up like every other car buying experience? Would the price she quoted over the phone be the same one listed on the contract? We'd have to make the 2 1/2 hour trip North to find out. And we did. We arrived at Pohanka Hyundai on Wednesday October 20th at 10:00 AM sharp. Our car was sitting in front of the dealership ready to go. I was pleased to see that. We walked through the door and Ms. Noce was waiting for us. All our paperwork was on her desk ready to go. We were done in 30 Minutes and the price on our contract was exactly what we had agreed to over the phone....TO THE PENNY!!! We are so pleased with the entire experience. Everyone at Pohanka Hyundai went out of their way to do all the things a customer expects. They were prepared, courteous, professional and honest. Best of all, Ms. Noce made this car buying experience "Fun"... Thanks Eliana! I made an appointment to come in within the next two days. I came in the vey next day and drove off the lot in my beautiful new car!!!!! Eliana was very nice, professional and helpful. The day I came in the weather was wet. It rained on and off the entire day but that did not put a damper on her professionalism and it really helped me to stay focused on the task at hand and that was getting me in a new car. I was looking for a new red sonata SE and I talked to all the dealers within 300 miles of us. From the beginning, Ken gave us the best price for the sonata. Unfortunately, he didn't have a red one at the moment, but promised to find one for us. We did receive the first red Sonata that came to the shop. We are very happy with the car and very satisfied with everybody at the dealership. If we decide to buy another Hyundai, we will go there again. More
I was in the market for a used luxury sedan (Mercedes, Lexus, etc) but wanted to check out the 2011 Hyundai Sonata since it was getting rave reviews. Ken listened to my wish list of things that I wanted and suggested that I test drive the Azera and the Genesis. I was very impressed and couldn't believe they were made by Hyundai. In the end, I decided to buy the 2009 Hyundai Azera Limited over the 2007 Lexus ES350. I am glad that I visited Pohanka Hyundai and that Ken was the salesman. He is very friendly and knows a lot about the vehicles. I will surely recommend him to my friends and family! More
Good initial price. Last minute attempts by the manager and loan person to add to the price were enough to make me wary. Fortunately I was prepared, but disappointed by the dealer ethics. One other thing; they never returned phone calls. I made over ten attempts to resolve the fact they sold me something that didn't exist. Do not believe "I'll get back to you." Three months later and an unnessary 50 mile trip later, I got my money back. My complaint is echoed by many dealers. There is a sad lack of positive ethics. Do not trust the dealers. Repeat the mantra "danger, stranger" the entire time you are buying a car from this dealer. In a broader sense let's hope the public will get together and demand a better system. Direct factory pricing and service centers would help. More
