Exceede My Expectations on a Saturday Morning Went in early on Saturday am because my maintenance reminder was blinking. Service Consultant, Assad Malik, met me on my way into the service area, politely introduced himself and responded to my questions about the maintenance reminder. He very quickly pulled up my record and gave me the options of what should/could be done based upon my mileage. He didn't push the most expensive alternative because of my mileage. I agreed to the specific services, he gave me the estimated amount and told me that it would take about an hour and a half. At one house and 20 minutes he found me in the waiting room, told me the work had been completed, escorted me to the desk where I usually pay for the work. Because it was unattended at that moment he asked me to come to his service desk and proceeded to handle the check out procedures himself. I then asked him if there was someone who could connect my cell phone to my radio/nav system. He walked outside with me and took care of it himself. Throughout the entire process he was knowledgeable, friendly, and professional. He reflected positively on the entire Pohanka operation. More

warranty coverage of head lamp Had a head lamp replaced 15 months ago. last week I brought my ES350 in for service and asked them to check the lamp because it was discolored. I was told the lamp was out of warranty and a new one was $350. Needless to say I was not a happy camper. I told my service rep that I did not know that the lamp had a 1 year warranty and that it had been like that for a few months. He pleaded my case to the warranty company and got my lamp covered. I really appreciate Mark sticking with me on this and following it through. I have been taking my car to Pohanka since we purchased it in 2007 and have always found the people to be friendly and courteous. More

Nothing less than stellar! I have been a member of NWFCU now for about three or four years. Recently, I had to purchase another car because I was rear ended. I kept seeing the T I have been a member of NWFCU now for about three or four years. Recently, I had to purchase another car because I was rear ended. I kept seeing the True Car promotions, and thought, this really does not help does it. I stand corrected. The last time I bought a car, less than a year a half a ago, I negotiated the rate myself, and it literally took hours to close the deal and then I went home feeling as if I needed a shower from dealing with the sleazy sales people, and the even worse post-sales by the finance team at Warrenton Toyota. This time, I decided to purchase a certified used car and used the True Car link provided a superior member benefit from NWFCU. I looked up the car, found what I wanted, and printed out the certificate. To my shock, I got the dealership and someone had been me to the punch on the car I was looking at. I thought, here we go, bait and switch. They had another vehicle, with yes, more miles, but also more amenities at Pohanka Lexus of Chantilly. I went back to the NWFCU site while at the dealership, logged in via the NWFCI link, found the car the salesman was showing me, and printed the certificate. I paid what I think was reasonable amount for a 2013 Lexus CT200h and thanks to the True Car, I got an extra $438 off the price they had. My salesman, Mikail Uyanik, was very helpful and did pull the usual high pressure and sleaze ball sales tricks played by most dealerships. Yes, this is my first luxury vehicle, and maybe that was the difference I thought. Without asking, they took care of some small issues with the paint, and made sure it had floor mats. Then, I had the pleasure of dealing with their finance team to the paperwork. Once again, I thought this is going to take forever, and here we go with the pitches and the relentless time to keep and mark up the deal. Nope. Gabriel Gordon from Pohanka made me realize not all finance guy are sleazy. He finished all the docs in about ten minutes, and I told him what addition I wanted (glass protection) and even the price I would pay for it. Done deal in and out. I wanted to express my gratitude to all involved, and when I have to do this again, I will use True Car and Pohanka again. I don't think I will ever buy new again when pre-owned you don't hit with the depreciation, and you get a car at a great value. Appreciatively yours, Michael Lee Davis More

Pleasant service experience regarding a faulty battery issue I dropped off my vehicle to have a battery test done to see if the battery was defective. Mitch Buster promptly let me know that my battery simply needed a recharge and recommended the use of a battery tender to avoid the possibility of a future battery outage.
