From the Manager Gary Whipkey (doesn't respond to questions or email), to Sales Manager Mike Wirth (yells at you over the phone) to Salesman Mike Wattawa (who responds with one or two word sentences) - buying a car from this group is a nightmare. They deserve ZERO stars. They wear you down with hour after hour of details - when you settle on a car and price - they change the car to something you don't want - when you protest they respond by saying the negotiations are over and that the price will change (read increase) and that there's no telling when the car is available - then bring in a car you don't want - and then are very clever as to when the sale is final. Lexus Corporate states they have no control over the dealer in terms of sale - so you are back to the same people who caused you grief in the first place. If you are seeking a Military discount - you have to go through 3 hours of legalize paperwork - 12 pages of forms - have to at least partially finance the car ( just another way to squeeze money out of you). Over two weeks Lexus Customer Service said they had asked the dealership to contact me - no calls - until I wrote to the Manager - who then apparently had his minions actually call me. They "Lost" my DD-214 - I had to return twice with a copy - Lexus had a recall on the car two months after delivery - and no reply from their Tech Rep for assistance. And from other reviews - they overprice their service. Final Comment - avoid this dealership - Pohanka Lexus Chantilly. More

Then they would try to hide they did not do anything. Then I was hired yelled at by Garry Wimpkey (General Manager) and Mike Warth. We have tried contacting Scott Crabtree. We have not gotten a response. We bought two cars from this organization. Never go there! Save your money. You will be treated better at other dealerships. More

I went to Pohanka Lexus (which is 30 miles out of my way, even though I live 5 miles from my local dealer) because of the exceptional service. I work with Nicole Perry everytime I come because she goes above and beyond every single time I go there. I took my car in Monday and realized Nicole wasn’t there. Another service advisor, Anuj, approached me and tried to understand my problem. He didn’t. He was arrogant, rude, and not a people person whatsoever. I told him about TWO SEPARATE issues and he thought they were the same issue and then went forward to write up an invoice for two new headlight modules which totaled over $4k! I obviously declined the service and told him I would come back to see Nicole Perry. The second time around was a completely different experience. Because of my absolutely terrible service I had on Monday, Nicole wanted to make it right. She sent out a loaner car to me and picked my car up to have it properly diagnosed which took a couple days. She then notified my that both bulbs were on their last legs and need to be replaced. Total cost with the diagnosis fee? $581. Much better than the estimate I received on Monday. Nicole was in constant communication, sent a loaner to me, and actually cared about have my problem solved correctly. I will forever be a client of Nicole Perry as she goes above and beyond to make sure I am satisfied and stuff gets done correctly. Thank you Nicole Perry for all of your hard work and being the person you are. Much much appreciated!! More

I brought my lexus car 12/19 for service. I was charged $169 while i was waiting for almost 4 hours and was told that the vibrations in the car was due to tire defect so they weren’t able to help me. I took the car to a mechanic shop and was told that the axle and engine mount is the problem and not the tire. I came to the dealer again and wanted to talk to a service manager (Jayson McCullough) who was rude and racist and he told me to just wait for an advisor to wait for 20 minutes standing on my foot then an advisor helped me. They took the car in after i told them what happened yesterday. I waited 2 hours and they said the same story that its the tire. I asked to check the axle,brakes and engine mount because i have warranty but they wouldn’t. The manager took me to see the computer that shows that the tire is defected but i requested to check something else and he refused. He told me you don’t have to tell me how to do my job. And if i don’t change the tire, he wont help me. He walked away while I was speaking with him. I have the right to be treated fairly and not discriminated, disrespected and singled out. Each time I drove home from Pohanka Lexus the warning lights would come on for the area of the car they said they fixed. Each time I went back, they went into price gouging mode. Pohanka Lexus service is dishonest, very dishonest. BTW, my car is still at Pohanka Lexus as it still has not been fixed. I have purchased 2 cars from Pohanka, but I WILL NOT BUY MY NEXT CAR FROM POHANKA LEXUS. More
Just wanted to share my experience with Pohanka service department. Brought my car for 10000 miles service ( oil change, cabin filter, tire rotation and more) 15000 now, front tires are gone. Had a small department. Brought my car for 10000 miles service ( oil change, cabin filter, tire rotation and more) 15000 now, front tires are gone. Had a small chip on the left rear wheel, still there. So figured out rotation wasn't done, not sure about everything else. Posted photo from local tire shop they done for me. Call service department several times, spent hours on the phone, sounds like no body care. Not sure if I want to come again for their service and trust their excellent service as they advertised. This has by far been the worst car buying experience that I have ever encountered. I drove from 50 miles away for what I thought was a good deal, to only find myself in a horrible car buying experience. I have felt disregarded and disrespected as a consumer throughout this experience. Below are my concerns with the entire purchase process: 1. There was no overview of the features of my vehicle provided post-sale. 2. My voicemail messages and email messages were not responded to in a timely manner, and in some instances, not at all, post-purchase. 3. I was assigned a filthy loaner vehicle that I had to have cleaned (paid for out of pocket) because of the trash and yard debris that was left inside, while my vehicle was in for repair. 4. As a result of inaccurate information being shared, more specifically, the commitment of the Lexus Sales consultant that vehicle scratches could be “buffed out,” I have had to be agreeable to own a vehicle that has instantly lost resale value as a result of paint repairs because the dealership was unable to honor its committed resolution. The other option would have been for me to live with the eyesore of clumps of touchup paint on the door and rear bumper, which the dealership attempted to pass off as acceptable repairs. When I questioned it, I was told that I should not expect perfection. It should also be noted that the dealership's leadership/ownership team has failed to respond to my written complaint, further reinforcing that I do not matter as a consumer. More
