We could not make an appointment - it was I moved to Virginia from Massachusetts, and I have found that this dealership does things very differently. We could not make an appointment - it was only walk-in. And although some may find that great, I was not happy with doing that. Upon arrival, the atmosphere was chaotic. I had no name to ask for, there were lines of people waiting to be helped, and I was helped by the next available agent. It just was not at all what I was used to, not what I was expecting. In Massachusetts, I dealt with the same service agent EVERY SINGLE TIME. I made appoints with him, and he knew what loaner to reserve for me. I felt more comfortable when I knew I would be dealing with the same agent each time. The work done at Pohanka Lexus was acceptable, I was just not used to the impersonal treatment. And that really means a lot to me, after being treated so well for over 16 years, to go to a very impersonal, random, whatever...I didn't feel special. I know that probably sounds stupid, but that's how I feel when I go to Watertown Lexus in Massachusetts. That's one of the reasons I bought a Lexus. And that's why I continue to go back to the dealership in Watertown Massachusetts. *UPDATE* I was contacted by Doug from the dealership, and he was very cordial. So although I still prefer seeing the same agent each time, Doug did make me feel better about taking my vehicle to the Pohanka dealership. I feel like if I go back to Pohanka Lexus, I know I can call Doug ahead and make an appointment, and I'm sure my experience will be better. Thanks Doug! More
