I just purchased a new Volkswagen Jetta SEL from this dealership. This is the 5th Jetta that I have purchased from Flemington Volkswagen and the 3rd that I have purchased through Sales Representative Joh dealership. This is the 5th Jetta that I have purchased from Flemington Volkswagen and the 3rd that I have purchased through Sales Representative John Rachmiel. My wife and I have come to know John over the past 10 years as a consummate professional. In all of our transactions with him, John has always been informative, helpful, responsive, and never pushy or impatient; he is simply a pleasure to deal with. During this most recent transaction I also interacted briefly with Ed Goddard and Cory Evans who were both very helpful and professional. Excellent buying experience. It started when I was in to schedule a service appointment for an existing car and mentioned to the service tech how nice the new Boxster S looked. Within a little over two hours, we had agreed on very fair trade in value, done all the paperwork, had the new car prepped, and I was out the door on a cloudless, early autumn day in a very fast and fun convertible. After test driving a 2014 Tiguan SE 4Motion, we decided on a Tiguan. SInce there were no major changes from 2013 to 2014, we figured we could take advantage of some incentives to purchase a 2013. The problem was that they did not have one in stock exactly like we wanted. Instead of pushing what was on hand, Irina located a vehicle, just like we wanted, from a dealer a few hundred miles away and had it delivered to Flemington NJ. I had rated the pricing as "good", not excellent because we had paid about what edmunds.com and kbb.com had considered a "fair" price - not a screaming deal. The important thing is that we got the car we wanted with the equipment level we wanted in the color we wanted when it was "slim pickin's" for that exact car. All in all, I rate Flemignton VW as "Great" because of the pleasant, low pressure sales atmoshpere and very helpful sales people. I would like to note that I had called Open Road VW in Bridgewater and spoke to "Sarah" about getting a quote on the car. She did not get back to me, so I called again and spoke to "Taraq" - who did call me back, but could not or would not give me a ballpark quote on the car we wanted. I also tried using the Edmunds.com new car quote service and did not recieve one call from any dealer. I hear that new cars are flying out of showrooms lately as people that have held back these last 5 or 6 years absolutely need to replace their aging clunkers, so maybe car dealers in general are not motivated to sell. More
