At another VW dealership a few towns over, I had to wait about 4 hours for entire buying process to complete - with John I was able to find and purchase what I wanted in a little under an hour. Finally, John was strikingly personable. When I went to pick up my car 2 days after purchasing it, John remembered personal bits of our conversation a few days earlier - he remembered that my boyfriend was an engineer, that I am one of six children, and he even remembered my sisters name (who I had only mentioned once, and very briefly during conversation). The type of personal interest that he took in me as a client was refreshing and stood out to me -- I have never encountered this type of treatment at a car dealership before.
