Mr. Ghanimah: Your response is false and misleading, which is to be expected, as follows: 1. An independent shop didn't "address" the issue -- all they did was discover the issue -- namely the fact that the bolt sheared off, and obvious defect. I told your service department when I had the car towed to you that I did not have the independent shop reassembly the bracket/assembly since you would have to remove it to get to the sheared bolt. In short, their work saved you disassembly work., 2. Where I bought the 911 is irrelevant, or should be, since the warranty I had, which expired 30 days before the bolt sheared off, was a Porsche warranty honored by any Porsche dealership across the county. Interesting that your shop didn't have any issue with the car bought elsewhere when you performed several warranty prior warranty items, of course getting paid by Porsche for the work. I do have a "further question" -- did your shop even try to get Porsche to cover this obvious defect under the warranty that had literally just expired? If so, provide the contact name and number of the Porsche person who made the decision to say no. If not, which I assume is the case given your service manager's repeated refusal to provide a simple name and contact number, then please confirm that your service department lied to me about having done so. BTW, do I need to buy a Porsche directly from Fields to be part of the "Fields' Automotive Family" and be provided with honest information? Does Fields treat everyone with such utter disrespect or is it limited to those who bought their cars from another dealer? shop, I told this

Mr. Ghanimah: Here is your service manager's actual response to my 3rd request for the Porsche warranty person's name and contact information, wherein he admits that "there is not a specific person that we speak with" and that instead you use "an algorithm ... to determine any goodwill coverage". Here it is verbatim, in CAPS for emphasis. Is this the level of "professionalism" that one expects from the "Fields Family"? If so, I suggest that Fields contact Jerry Springer for a slot on one of his upcoming shows on dysfunctional families. GOOD EVENING MR. WHALEN, THERE IS NOT A SPECIFIC PERSON THAT WE SPEAK WITH. AS A DEALER WE USE A COMPUTER PROGRAM AND INPUT ALL OF YOUR INFORMATION AND THE CONCERN/PROBLEM. THERE IS AN ALGORITHM THAT IT USES TO DETERMINE ANY GOODWILL COVERAGE, THAT WAY IT IS NOT IN THE HANDS OF THE DEALER AND NO SPECIAL PRIVILEGES ARE USED. YOUR PARTICULAR CLAIM CAME BACK AT 0% COVERAGE. WE DO REVIEW EVERY CASE WITH OUR GENERAL MANAGER AND OUR PORSCHE REP. THEY BOTH AGREED WITH THE OUTCOME. IF THERE ARE ANY ADDITIONAL QUESTIONS ABOUT COVERAGE OR THE ANSWER FROM OUR GOODWILL ASSISTANCE PROGRAM IT WILL NEED TO BE DIRECTED TO CUSTOMER COMMITMENT. 1-800-PORSCHE.

Mr. Ghanimah: Per your service manager's email I just forwarded, he claims that he reviewed this claim with the General Manager, namely you. Is this correct? If so, do you plan to do anything based on the fact that the information your service manager provided was false -- namely the bolt sheared off in park in my driveway, not while driving.
