Having workrd in the automotive service industry for a while, and having been a consistent Hidiburg service customer, I know that having my vehicle serviced at a dealership is generally the best option even when it's a little more expensive. Professionalism is better and value is added due to the support infrastructure provided by Toyota. More

Neither of us are high mileage drivers, being retired, so our service intervals are more by time than mileage. The Camry receives OK service, my Tacoma has less than 5,000 miles (4 year old truck) and “recommended services” seems uncalled for. Recently, as well as last year, a complete brake flush and ac coil cleaning were recommended. Is the Tacoma more susceptible to such needs than the Camry? I don’t receive such frivolous recommendations on the Camry. By our choice, we had the batteries replaced in both vehicles. The Camry replacement looked ok, my Tacoma, a cable clip was left hanging and the positive terminal cover was not properly covering the terminal. Was the technician rushed or their practices shoddy? I can never give a perfect score after a service experience. We’ve been trading at Hudiburg since 1994 and still seeking consistency in service. My service intervals have gotten longer because I do not look forward to going there. Tell us what is broke or about to fail, we’ll get it repaired. Stop pushing services the dealership just wants to sell, which are questionably required. Then, you might see our vehicles more often. More
