Normal excellent service Hudiberg Toyota has returned to it's previous excellent customer service focus of a couple of years ago; I talk with the service scheduler ON SITE who Hudiberg Toyota has returned to it's previous excellent customer service focus of a couple of years ago; I talk with the service scheduler ON SITE who knows who I am and can even describe which car I have, without having to put me on hold for 20 minutes in Florida to discuss how to navigate the screen and status of my repairs. I GET TO TALK with SERVICE PEOPLE! and they are not pushing unnecessary or unreal repairs. (at least Not with me...) Keep going More
Terrible experience I brought my Toyota Tacoma in to have some work done. They had to purchase a part, so I gave them the go ahead to get the part and do the work. After speaking with some mechanic friends, I learned that the truck could be fixed without replacing the part. The next day, I call Hudiburg and let them know that i do not want them to do the work and that i will pay any costs associated with the work already performed as well as a restocking fee for the part they special ordered. The parts guy says you cant do that, and that they have a no return policy on special order electrical parts. I called Bob Howard Toyota's service department and they said they would have no problem returning the part and that i would have to pay the restocking fee. I brought this to Hudiburg's attention and they still stand firm on their original stance of not being able to return the item. I will never use Hudiburg again and i will make sure to share my experience with as many people as i can to deter others away from using them. I am not upset with the employees i spoke with; I am upset by the fact that there is a policy that says a special order part cannot be be returned. I was willing to pay a restocking fee and any other costs that Hudiburg had already incurred, but unfortunately they do not have the compassion to make an exception. REPLACED ALTERNATOR ENDED UP WITH TRANSMISSION PROBLEMS We've been a customer of Hudiburg for over 13 years and for the past 4-5 years there service has become quite questionable. I own/owned a 2007 Avalon We've been a customer of Hudiburg for over 13 years and for the past 4-5 years there service has become quite questionable. I own/owned a 2007 Avalon Limited 91,000 miles. Excellent condition no problems whatsoever. We had it maintenance ever time the light came on and had them do whatever it called for. Recently we had the alternator go bad, towed it into Hudiberg they replaced it with a Toyota refurbished alternator, $800+ later we pick up the Av, drove a mile or so and the car started to slow, jerk etc. We called Hudiburg told them what was happening and told them would bring it back the next morning as the service department was closing. The car went totally out a couple blocks from our home, we called Hudiburg they sent a tow truck to get the car and we went back for a rental. We asked them if they tested the car before they release it to us and the claimed they did, however if they did the would have known there was a problem. Service dept. called us the next day and tell us the transmission was out.... How? There was no transmission problem before they touch it! My husband told them that was very suspect as we had absolutely no problems before the alternator and they had previously did the regular maintenance on it nor did they find anything. They told they would give us a deal on the transmission and labor $3600+ appose to $5400. I refuse to do further business with Hudiburg as I feel that they broke my car, I don't know what happened but they do and I will never do business with them again, and will tell everyone about my experience with them. There service center has really gone to crap...$800+ and a perfectly great car until now, really saddens me but what do you do. Sad for us!!! More

Having owned 11 Toyotas myself (over the past 33 years), my husband having owned 1, and my son now 2, we are definitely Toyota spokespeople, and as such, we have come to expect a certain level of quality and performance from our Toyota vehicles and from the people who stand behind them at the dealerships, starting from the sales department through the service department and everything in between. Jamie Coats has demonstrated all that we have been accustomed to with our previous service manager back in Illinois, and we so appreciate he and his service techs taking care of us in the same manner. Had my engine replaced by them, the engine overheated because they forgot to reconnect a hose. 2000 miles later the car is blowing out smoke and they will not fix it.
