The experience I had was not very favorable. Once he saw I was serious he started to back track his offer and then never called me back. I then spoke to a manager named yaria or something like that who said she would take over and see what she could do, which was nothing she never returned my calls and when I finally showed up in person she just gave me another sales person who wanted to start the whole process all over. I had already been given a number for my trade in and a quote for the new car 27,450 for a civic. The new sales person came back with a price for almost 39,000 and when asked what happened to the original offer she had no answer and simply stated there is a high demand for these vehicles. Just wanted to share that there are some people that lie just to get you hooked into A deal. Also watch out for a guy who just sits in a glass booth mr Lee behind a computer not willing to talk to any customers and I was told by the last sales person that no one but sales people can talk to him. Very poor service and liers I dealt with w. I drove 45 mins to meet with a salesman who confirmed they had the car I was looking for. I already expected and accepted that their would be a "market adjustment" of 10-20% given the shortage of cars. they had the car I was looking for. I was willing to pay this amount, I was even willing to pay the 30%, $8k on a $26k MSRP. That unfortunately was not enough for the dealership. At 1st they would not accept outside financing, so I offered to pay cash. Then they would allow cash but would not sell me the car unless I "bought" the extended warranty through Honda to the tune of $2900. I said I would not be extorted and they said they could not sell me the car. Additionally, they had 5 model match cars and the very kind, but unable, sales manager thanked me for coming but said that his finance department would not sell me the car without the additional warranty. Drove up from San Diego after Clary Rivas confirmed that there were 3 of the vehicles we were looking for here on the lot. When we arrived we were told they only had one and that it must have just sold. We explained to the salesman Joe Lozano that we had driven all the way from San Diego because we were told the vehicle was here. Instead of apologizing for the false information we were given his reply was, “there’s no cars in San Diego.” I felt like telling him No xxxx! That’s why we are here!!!! He then proceeded to attempt to get us into a car that was 7 thousand dollars more than the one we were looking for. His cavalier attitude was extremely off putting and definitely NOT what we have come to expect from Honda. We are a family of Honda owners and have experienced nothing but excellence from our previous experiences with Honda. Unfortunately this location (specifically the 2 employees mentioned in this review) DO NOT come anywhere near the level of professionalism and exceptional customer service that we have always experienced from Honda. We saw right through their bait and switch technique and walked out before wasting anymore time. Total disappointment. Complete waste of time and gas. DO NOT GO TO THIS LOCATION.
