I drove 45 mins to meet with a salesman who confirmed they had the car I was looking for. I already expected and accepted that their would be a "market adjustment" of 10-20% given the shortage of cars. they had the car I was looking for. I already expected and accepted that their would be a "market adjustment" of 10-20% given the shortage of cars. I was willing to pay this amount, I was even willing to pay the 30%, $8k on a $26k MSRP. That unfortunately was not enough for the dealership. At 1st they would not accept outside financing, so I offered to pay cash. Then they would allow cash but would not sell me the car unless I "bought" the extended warranty through Honda to the tune of $2900. I said I would not be extorted and they said they could not sell me the car. Additionally, they had 5 model match cars and the very kind, but unable, sales manager thanked me for coming but said that his finance department would not sell me the car without the additional warranty. Shameful and it should be illegal.. More

Drove up from San Diego after Clary Rivas confirmed that there were 3 of DO NOT GO HERE! TAKE YOUR BUSINESS ELSEWHERE! HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE! Drove up from San Diego after Clary Rivas confirmed that there were 3 of the vehicles we were looking for here on the lot. When we arrived we were told they only had one and that it must have just sold. We explained to the salesman Joe Lozano that we had driven all the way from San Diego because we were told the vehicle was here. Instead of apologizing for the false information we were given his reply was, “there’s no cars in San Diego.” I felt like telling him No xxxx! That’s why we are here!!!! He then proceeded to attempt to get us into a car that was 7 thousand dollars more than the one we were looking for. His cavalier attitude was extremely off putting and definitely NOT what we have come to expect from Honda. We are a family of Honda owners and have experienced nothing but excellence from our previous experiences with Honda. Unfortunately this location (specifically the 2 employees mentioned in this review) DO NOT come anywhere near the level of professionalism and exceptional customer service that we have always experienced from Honda. We saw right through their bait and switch technique and walked out before wasting anymore time. Total disappointment. Complete waste of time and gas. DO NOT GO TO THIS LOCATION. **Providing false information over the phone to attract the customers and they will schedule the Appointment** Whenever we call to dealership they will say we are charging only $2000 markup above the st the customers and they will schedule the Appointment** Whenever we call to dealership they will say we are charging only $2000 markup above the sticker price and you can bring your own financing but when you came to the dealership they will say $6000 above the sticker and they don't work with third-party finance. We have to take Honda financing and they showed me 5.20% APR even if you have a 760 credit score. Please don't visit this dealership they are charging too much and not responsive. More

Wow, I wish I had anything else to say. I contacted LA Honda World from their website inquiring about a specific car. I gave my information (the same information in the Honda Dealer network which I gave t Honda World from their website inquiring about a specific car. I gave my information (the same information in the Honda Dealer network which I gave to other local dealerships in my search) and I got no response. Nada. Not same day. Not 1 day. Not business days. But a week. After a few days I reached out again, stating that I was never contacted but was interested in the vehicle I was looking at. Still nothing. The irony is, they had the car I wanted the most at a decent price. It's a 90% likelihood that they would have had the sale and taken my money if they just contacted me back. Now I'm actually glad they didn't. I can't imagine how inattentive they would have been to my wants and needs in the deal if they can't even contact me to begin with. More

I've been to the service center here at Honda World Downey several times. i always get any service advisor that is available. & this last time I got N I've been to the service center here at Honda World Downey several times. i always get any service advisor that is available. & this last time I got Nicole as an advisor, I had always seen her there but never actually got her as an advisor to help me out with my vehicle & Omg! I fell in love with this girls customer service. She made it all easy for me and worked hard to get trough my extended warranty something an advisor before did not want to help with she also made sure my car was out quick and ready to go.. I can not thank her enough for all her help. I hope you guys get more advisors just as great as her! I will definitely be scheduling my appointments with her from now on. Thank you Nicole!! :) More
