Lies after Lies. Beware Not happy with my new purchase and overall customer service. Had to wait 2 hours to see the finance dept., was lied to over the phone and was given a Not happy with my new purchase and overall customer service. Had to wait 2 hours to see the finance dept., was lied to over the phone and was given a different price to get me to come in, had to purchase $2K of equipment that is actually worth about $300 anywhere else, and was also lied to about reimbursements on my trade-in. I kept asking for it in writing and was told that they had nothing in writing but they "Promised" and "It's the law". Low and behold, I'm not getting back what they said I would be. I also qualified for a lower APR but the guy from finance would not give it to me unless I purchased extras so that he can get his bonus. Beware of Honda of Downey's sellers. They will say anything to get you to come in and to sell you a car. Even if it means lying and overcharging you. More

Tony Nguyen was excellent I was looking to purchase two Honda Accord EXLs last weekend and started the dreaded contacting of dealers. I had already contacted 15 other dealers and been through all the normal games when I got a hold of Tony Nguyen, Internet Sales Manager. I contacted him via e-mail to start and was very surprised at how upfront and honest he was. He gave me a quote which was too high for me but after a few back and forths we came to an agreement. We then talked on the phone to finalize the deal and again I was amazed at his professionalism. When I got to Honda World, Tony already had the vehicles washed and ready. Everything that we had agreed upon was as we had agreed with no bait and switch or shady tactics.The whole process once we got to the dealership took about 3 hours. This was way too long, but it seemed they had a few challenging finances going on, so I will give them a pass. Mel Cabalar, Finance, completed our paperwork in a timely manner and was a funny(a rarity for a finance guy). The overall experience at Honda World Downey was excellent. I would recommend this dealer to anyone looking to get a no nonsense deal. It is nice to find a dealership that is straight forward and does not play all of the games. More

Honest, efficient, very competitive prices. After shopping prices online across all of Nor Cal and So Cal these guys price matched and threw in some goodies on top of the best deal I could find in the state. Drove 3 hours from Fresno to get the deal they offered me, the whole time thinking that when I got there they were going to throw out some fees that they'd forgot to mention. To my surprise they had all the paperwork ready to go just as promised online. Nothing added on, no hard sell for anything extra. Awesome experience, great price, great people. The other dealers can keep their cappuccino, I'll take the deals and experience from Honda World in Downey. More

This place is ridiculous, I will never come here EVER. They are all frauds, charged my card and made me pay cash saying my card didnt go through. Never felt so unsafe about a place before in my life.
