Gratifying new-car experience When my wife and I decided to purchase a new Toyota Prius as our second car we considered using the Costco purchase program. We registered with Costc When my wife and I decided to purchase a new Toyota Prius as our second car we considered using the Costco purchase program. We registered with Costco and were immediately introduced to Paul Anthony at Precision Toyota. He met with us the next day, showed us the savings program offered by Costco and Precision Toyota, and together we selected the model that we wanted. We completed the financing with Juan Ramirez, who offered us additional savings and incentives through the Costco program and a few hours later we drove away having traded our Dodge Caliber. Three hours...done, pleasantly surprised and painlessly satisfied. Actually a new, new-car experience. More

Brand New Car with a Blown Motor in less than a Year. So less than a year into ownership and my vehicle has blown the motor a little over 18,000 miles into ownership. There is a TSB out for the problem my motor has experienced and I have purchased the Extended Warranty but I am being told I need to pay them to find out what happened and they are saying the problem is not covered under warranty even though the initial diagnosis has shown the vehicle is allowing coolant into the combustion chamber. (They are charging me 100 right now just for this information) After being jerked around by Precision Toyota the first time when buying my FRS, then buying my wife's car and coming in to sign papers after her surgery only to have the listed price go up 1000 I can honestly say that Precision Toyota has shown me nothing but issues since we bought. Before this with the Corvette I own that was bought there during the tires for life promotion only to be denied tire replacement because tires were to expensive for a Corvette to them I see nothing other than a pattern of abuse, lies and neglect. There may be decent employee's there but this type of treatment and service is completely unacceptable & unethical. I have involved legal representation & it's an ongoing battle. There are over 280 documented cases of this issue so far that we have found. Steer clear and hope to avoid such treatment because if this is how they treat a repeat customer how would they treat a new customer? ---UPDATE--- So yesterday I had to take the car back after putting in a new engine because the Cruise Control Stalk broke off the Steering Wheel. Obviously I was hesitant to go in at all but after calling Scion Corporate (File #1506231154) I was told everything would be fine. When I showed up I spoke with a Service Adviser named Logan, he was very polite & informed me yes everything is under warranty we will get this taken care of in 2-2.5 hours. (They would have to order parts most likely & I was fine with that I just wanted to get the ball rolling to fix it) Less than 10 minutes later a new Service Adviser (Apparently a Manager) named Lance walked up & informed me that it would cost 99.95 to even look at my car because it was modified (I had replaced the engine mentioned above), when I asked him to explain how this had anything to do with the Cruise Control Stalk he could only come up with "Maybe you took it apart to modify it". I have no idea how you modify a Steering Column or Cruise Control Stalk & when I asked that he did not know either. However since he told me I would not pay if they found it to be a warranty item I was fine with moving forward, until he told me it would now be 6 hours because they found out it was my vehicle. (Yes that is what they said) I refused as it was clear if this is how I was treated it would only be worse for my vehicle. When I went to leave I was approached by the Service Department Manager (Peter) who I again explained, hey this is a Cruise Control Stalk seriously there is an issue to get this handled? At that point a new face showed up. I had now 3 Managers Peter, Lance & now a Brett all trying to convince me that because I replaced the motor it was modified & the interior is effected by that. Finally fed up we ended up talking for 30-40 minutes & besides being told I was being treated this way because it was me I was told that they did not know how I could modify this item but they were sure I had somehow done so. I obviously left as I had planned & I had decided to just forget about it & replace it myself (I already bought the part online) however Scion Corporate called me to see how things went, so I let them know. They wanted me to go to Desert Toyota now and called them speaking with Terry, only to find out Precision Called Desert & told them my car has now been in an accident, is rebuilt & they should not work on the vehicle. Magically my new car has been in an accident, has been rebuilt yet none of this is true. It has never been in even a fender bender let alone a collision that has totaled it. Talk about a lack of Professionalism & Integrity. More

(Find Pooja she is the best.) There is one catch, in order to get the right price, you have the insult the owner / general manager by calling him a girl. More
