Due to limited supply and dealerships charging some type of market adjustment on vehicles, we were explaining to our team to make sure customers are treated with the utmost respect during these difficult times. Our nameplate has been a staple in the community for years and we strive to provide 100% complete customer satisfaction.

This is not true at all. First of all your manager Tae Kwon said “I don’t know what you heard since I wasn’t in the meeting and I’m sorry you overheard it”. This comment is telling because he’s apologizing for the fact that I heard, but not the context of what was said. What I heard was “if you are going to get the customer to pay over MSRP you have to make them love the car”. Well, that has nothing to do with being empathetic to “difficult times”, exactly the opposite is true. This statement proves that you don’t “need” to make market adjustments and you are taking advantage and manipulating the customer in spite of these difficult times. There was nothing of any comment about ensuring the customer is treated with utmost respect. Once again, the manager Tae Kwon said he was unaware of the meeting and did not know what was being told to the salespeople so he was of zero help. It seems that you will do what you can to price people higher than what is required to make a legitimate profit. This process in unethical in “difficult times”.
