I was given all the typical "sales speeches" about how my previous deal was "crazy" and how it was such a great deal that they could never match it again, not even for a repeat customer with excellent credit. I've been leasing cars from this dealership for over 9 years and now they refuse to make a decent deal. Well, there are many other Toyota or other brand dealers close by so I don't have far to go. Wrong paperwork Came in to get a new car on October 12. The sales experience wasn't actually bad. However, on October 23, I received a call from George Reyes, who sta Came in to get a new car on October 12. The sales experience wasn't actually bad. However, on October 23, I received a call from George Reyes, who stated that I was given the wrong contract form and needed to resign the contract. Not sure why that took 11 days to spot and notify me but fine. Spoke to him on the phone - was assured that contract was the same just the form was different and I simply needed to sign. New contract came in the next day after the call. Surprisingly (?) the contract was not the same. There were additional fees that I would be signing up for and the best part there was no GAP insurance that I've agreed to pay for on the original contract. Nice bait and switch that could've costed me thousands of dollars if there was ever an issue which involved GAP. Notified them of the above fact, they've agreed to pay me for some of the difference and I wasn't gonna argue over few hundred dollars of fees over multiple years - just the fact of bait and switch left a poor taste in my mouth. Of course after the I mailed the contract in, all the contact stopped and I couldn't get a hold of anyone. I knew my first payment was coming so I called Toyota, TFS, lender banks to try to figure out how to pay on time - all told me to contact the dealership because apparently dealership didn't bother submitting the paperwork until the last minute so I "wasn't in the system". Last but not least, I was told that I'd get the copy of the contract - good thing I made my own copy because, of course, I never received it (as of November 24th). Overall would not go back there. More
