Very disappointing The Dealership refused to work with me, a loyal three time customer. The Service Department quoted me 350.00 for brakes and charged me 428.00. I like my Camry but not completely happy with the service I found the vehicle I liked, a 2015 preowned certified Camry. My sales consultant Michael Thomas was friendly and very decent. I test drove it and d I found the vehicle I liked, a 2015 preowned certified Camry. My sales consultant Michael Thomas was friendly and very decent. I test drove it and decided to put $5000 down after negotiating a price. The whole process took a little too long (several hours) but I figured it was because it was the last day of the month and was very busy which I understand. What really left a bad taste in my mouth was signing the paperwork with the finance person Shaun Holmes. He presented me with two monthly payment options upfront. One with the Toyota Service agreement and an extra tire protection coverage and the other choice of just having the service agreement, with a lower monthly payment. I was not aware that this was extra and thought it was included (no extra cost) He also told me that the bank required me to have this to finance the vehicle, which afterwards I realize that is a lie. When I got home and looked at the contract, that is when I found out the service agreement was $2,875 !!! That basically makes my car payment an extra 9 months and/or $50-60 more a month. If I would have seen the contract BEFORE signing this I would have DECLINED this. I believe he purposely hid this cost, process was rushed. I called and spoke with him the following Monday and told him that I wasn't happy that I was not made aware of the $2875 cost and should have been upfront with this. He said that it was the only way that the bank would finance the car, (a lie) and that I could always cancel it within 30 days anyway. The bank would get the refund, But he was unable to make any changes to the contract and monthly payment at that point. So in closing I'm very happy with the car, but the lack of transparency is upsetting. I will definitely write a negative review on your dealership on social media explaining my experience, I feel I should warn the public to be on the look out and what to expect when purchasing a car from you. More
