The process of purchasing a car just takes too long. Over the last 12 to 15 years I have purchased and/or leased a number of vehicles from Prestige Toyota but this will probably be my last. The service d Over the last 12 to 15 years I have purchased and/or leased a number of vehicles from Prestige Toyota but this will probably be my last. The service department has always been excellent. However, I must say the sales department customer service has gradually gone down hill for me. Let me explain my recent experience. I had leased a Venza in 2015, a vehicle I have been very happy with (this was my second Venza). Now that a new Venza is no longer available I decided to purchase my leased Venza. I visited the sales location in Ramsey in early July to make the necessary arrangements. It soon became apparent I was not going to have enough time that day (July 5) to make the purchase. I learned that the vehicle needed a certified inspection by the Toyota service dept which would take at least an hour. I decided to make another appointment for Sept 11 as I was going to be traveling for much of July and all of August. On Sept 11 I arrived at 10:45 for my 11;00 appointment with all the documentation needed from me including a certified check for the necessary amount. I was told the service department had been advised of the inspection needed and would be ready for me. When I got to the Mahwah location it seems they did not know anything about this, said they were very busy but would fit me in as soon as possible. I was told it would be 1 hr and 30 mins. I was pleasantly surprised when the car was ready after 1 hr and 15 mins. I drove back to the sales location in Ramsey expecting that all the paperwork would be ready and the process would take maybe an hour. Far from it. I was faced with the usual banter for another 2 hours plus. ...I need to check with my manager on that..........I need to check with my manager on this......... Where was the manager? Why didn't he come and ask me the questions? The whole transaction was a very frustrating process. I eventually left the Ramsey location around 3:30, nearly 5 hours after I had arrived. I was not at all satisfied with the process. More

Service for Highlander I always bring my car to Prestige. They are courteous, convenient and helpful. This time, I requested a loaner car (which I never do) and got a great I always bring my car to Prestige. They are courteous, convenient and helpful. This time, I requested a loaner car (which I never do) and got a great Highlander to drive for a day. A few months ago I had my rear wiper blade replaced, drove away and later noticed that it wasn't actually replaced, but I was charged. No worries, when I called Prestige, they apologized and took care of it right away. Otherwise, all of my experiences at Prestige have always been very positive. More
