If you want to waste your time go to Prestige Toyota in Ramsey. The sales department doesn’t know anything about the financial department. Pricing gimmicks, errors, slow & dirty windows We wanted a low mileage Avalon to replace our 2013 Avalon hybrid, a car we loved to drive - 100,000 in 5 years! Prestige had the best one in northe We wanted a low mileage Avalon to replace our 2013 Avalon hybrid, a car we loved to drive - 100,000 in 5 years! Prestige had the best one in northern NJ with a 2015 with 13,000 miles. The perfect car for us. So we had to put up with this dealership. They wanted to add a $2,000 prep fee to the price to get the car ready. Also a $400 mandatory cost for special finish plus the usual dealer fees, title, tax, etc. After an hour of wasted back and forth we agreed on an acceptable deal. We arranged our own financing and when ready we made an appointment to pick up the car. We arrived at the agreed time and had to wait for the sales rep who quickly handed us off to a product specialist while he ran out. Since we had an Avalon we knew the car and were ready in ten minutes. We waited a half hour for the rep and when he came back he told us all the closing people were busy. We asked him to check with the manager. We finally sat down with a gentleman to finish the paperwork. The original paperwork had our last name misspelled and we asked for it to be corrected. When all the paperwork was printed our name and our address was wrong! What should have taken an hour took four. We drove home in rush-hour due to their incompetence. When we pulled in the drive the sun hit the windshield exposing a heavy film on the inside of the window. The certified car had dirty windows. More
