I've learned that there is always a benefit to shopping around and doing your due diligence when making a major purchase, but the level of service and professionalism at this dealership really makes me feel they should be on any local persons' to-visit list when considering purchasing a new or used Volvo. Ron (sales and leasing specialist) and PJ (one of the sales managers) do a phenomenal job making you feel appreciated as a customer. They'll listen to your concerns and address them without any hassle. Craig (the other sales manager and the person responsible for ordering and managing the dealership's stock) was the person I worked with to negotiate pricing and timing of my order. Pat Masone dealt with all the paperwork and financing details. I never felt uncomfortable at any point during my visits when working with these two gentlemen. Their honesty and transparency really made that possible. Bob Knott has been my service advisor for most of my service visits and has always been very easy to work with and very easy to talk to about my service issues. His communication skills have made many service appointments go more smoothly than they could have. Jay Rosen, the service manager, is also very helpful and doesn't just sit in his office "managing" - I often see him getting involved in directly helping customers and actively seeking to keep his department running as smooth as possible, often taking proactive steps to help the service advisors to get things done when they're busy and he has a moment. This is not how all dealership service departments are run, and I found it to be a consistently pleasant surprise for the years I've been taking my Volvos there. In the past, I've had too many experiences where the service manager just "manages" unhappy customers after they're given a reason to complain. More

PRESTIGE VOLVO IS TRULY THE BEST PLACE TO BUY A VOLVO After much research, and after driving a Tesla Model X, and after aggressive shopping for a luxury hybrid SUV, I was ready for a XC 90 T8. I live in After much research, and after driving a Tesla Model X, and after aggressive shopping for a luxury hybrid SUV, I was ready for a XC 90 T8. I live in the Hudson Valley and visited Ramsey Volvo, Mid Hudson Volvo, White Plains Volvo and, finally, Prestige in East Hanover NJ (about 90 miles from my home). I bought my XC 90 T8 from Steve Badian at this dealership. To give you a sense of comparison, I also own late model BMW (M5), Jaguar and Porsche. In fact I traded a Porsche Cayenne on my Volvo. I have very high expectations of customer service and delivery. I can state with confidence that this particular delivery may have been the best I ever experienced. Not only did the dealer have substantial inventory where I found my preferred color and equipment combination - they came in with the best price on the deal. Even their post deal business department ( you know, the guys whose job it is to sell you all kinds of extra stuff) was pleasurable and non annoying. I ended up buying the Zurich Shield and a partial Zurich protection package - which I felt was a very good value for what you get. A dealership is properly evaluated how they respond when things go wrong - not when everything is smooth. In my case my new XC 90 T 8 had some minor cosmetic issues on delivery. They were immediately dealt with and I was given a "we owe" (correctly) for what could not be addressed at the time. At no time did I feel that any of my concerns were treated as trivial or overly critical. As for the car, I looked carefully at the BMW X5 hybrid, the Cayenne S Hybrid and the Volvo. There simply is no real comparison as far as I am concerned. My first Volvo is likely the best one they ever made. Power efficiency luxury and solidity, without the fleecing. I could not be happier. It just so happened to be my birthday on delivery day last week - and they even got me a cake! The quality of this dealer takes the cake and also gives the cake! Hats off to Steve, Pat, PJ and Matt. Great experience and highly recommended. More
