I walked into Prestige Volvo knowing very little about the cars, but needing to take care of replacing my old car quickly and efficiently. I had actually known Matt Haiken but didn't realize he worked th the cars, but needing to take care of replacing my old car quickly and efficiently. I was taken care of immediately and wait times throughout the process were neglible. I was so impressed with the car and the dealership that this was the only place I went to. I told Matt that I was going to buy "a car" that day and his dealership was my first stop. His pricing and recommendations were good and I got my car three days later. Every step of the process was efficient, courteous and effective. I have only had the car for two days but so far, love everything about it. I was most pleasantly surprised by the experience. I went to Prestige Volvo to test drive the 2011 XC60 to compare with Audi Q5 and BMW X3, as a replacement for my wife's Toyota Sienna. I spoke to Chris who confirmed that they had a car with the options I compare with Audi Q5 and BMW X3, as a replacement for my wife's Toyota Sienna. I spoke to Chris who confirmed that they had a car with the options I wanted in stock, and that he would have it ready for us upon arrival for a test drive. Within 5 minutes of walking into the dealership, I was driving the car. Chris was knowledgeable in the vehicle and options and was extremely personable. Without being pushy, Chris informed me of the maintenance/financing special Volvo was offering that was expiring at the end of the month (2 days later) and asked what he could do to make the deal work. After about 10 minutes of having my trade in checked over, he returned with a number in the range I was expecting and comparable to the Audi and BWM dealerships I've visited. 5 minutes later and a $1000 increase on the trade, we had a deal. One thing I did not expect and was very appreciative of was that Chris offered us the Costco car buying discount ($500 UNDER invoice) - I didn't even think of using the service and wouldn't have been aware of it had he not mentioned it. My only negative comment with the overall experience was that the rear entertainment system had to be ordered and we couldn't drive away from the dealership 100% done. Perhaps they should consider keeping 2-3 units in stock in the 2-3 interior colors the cars come in rather than having to have their customers wait 3-4 days until it's purchased, and then another day to have it installed. However, the entertainment system was installed when promised, and the service department was a pleasure to deal with - they remembered my wife's name when she entered the office. Overall, this is the absolute BEST car buying experience I've ever had, and I've bought more than 10 new cars (Toyotas, Audis, BMWs, a Mitsubishi, a Ford and a Nissan). In and out within an hour to make the deal, and less than an hour to sign all the paperwork and have all the features explained when we picked up the car. By the way, if you can, ask for Joel to go over the vehicle when picking it up - he is extremely thorough, knowledgeable and the best customer service experience I've had at any car dealership ever. Lastly, they had a small play area for children that kept my 4-year-old occupied and safe. And they had given a cute teddy bear in a Prestige Volvo sweater to both my boys, even before we agreed on buying the car. Classy, customer service oriented and very accommodating - couldn't think of any reason not to recommend it to all my friends (actually, already did). More
