I purchased a CPO at another Volvo dealership that shouldn't have been certified in light of its issues. After almost a YEAR of battling with that dealership and getting nowhere, I brought the vehicle shouldn't have been certified in light of its issues. Not only did he immediately concede that there was an issue, but he took all necessary steps to remedy it. He deserves TEN stars! I have been dealing with luxury brands and their associated service departments for more than twenty years - Jay Rosen runs the best, most honest, most accommodating service department out there BY FAR! After a good experience in the past, I thought I'd return for a regular oil change and to take advantage of special offer I was mailed for brake service. After speaking with multiple parties, including someone from the parts department, my quote and appointment were set. I showed up for my appointment and it was as if I had never called. The service advisor did not know of the promotion their dealership had offered. I was challenged about the service I ordered, and was told they would "inspect" the car and tell me what service I needed. My oil change and brakes were quoted at $291.00. After making me wait more than an hour I was given their "inspection" results and recommendations for work quoted at $1,736.05, plus taxes and other, unspecified get-over fees. After refusing all services except for a basic, minimal oil change, for which I was quoted $60, I was made to wait more than another hour and handed a bill that was 25% above what was quoted. I don't patronize dishonest businesses, so I am done with Prestige. More
