I plan to dispute the charge for the swipe fee with my credit card company. There was no disclosure before I paid that there would be a fee for using a credit card. I was told the amount; when I inserted card in reader, a higher amount appeared. I wanted to change to debit card, but associate reached over and pressed the key to complete transaction. Thirty years ago, I would not have left home without my checkbook, but I don’t carry it around now. Price Leblanc Lexus changed this practice with no notice or appropriate disclosure. The receipt sent by email afterward did not even include the swipe fee as payment made. More
