went to pride Chevrolet dealer in Wakefield Massachusetts to have them replace my driver side mirror they replaced my mirror and installed driver's door panel improperly also damaging the door there is a den to have them replace my driver side mirror they replaced my mirror and installed driver's door panel improperly also damaging the door there is a dent in the door where they pried the panel off. The panel is not installed correctly and it is obvious when looking from the outside in, the panel is 1.5" taller than the other side. Water is also coming in when it rains. took the vehicle back to them the lady at the front desk said there is nothing they could do and it is fine but it obviously isn't when compared to the other. The manager originally said yes, I see what's wrong. then came back and said we are not going to help you with this issue I would like an apology for this and my door panel installed properly. More

Do not go here if you are a professional female and want a good deal. I drove almost 2 hours because of the good price of a car with the exact features I wanted. I purchase brand new every year for the past 15 years. I had a “Chevy black book deal” in hand telling me my car was worth 27,800. I am a very busy professional and was ready and willing to purchase immediately that day. They tried to offer me 23,000. At that point there was no real negotiating. I felt bamboozled and one of the sales folks called me “hun,” which is insulting, especially when I am older then him. I am in the military on active duty and was disgusted at the way I was treated. No deal was made that day and the car still sits on their lot over a month later. Unfortunate because I want the features in that car and they could have made a deal. I’ll be purchasing elsewhere when inventory improves. More

Honestly there isn’t enough room to explain how awful this dealership is! They lie, they rip off customers then lie to your face. They scam you promise to make it right, but they screwed me even more whe this dealership is! They lie, they rip off customers then lie to your face. They scam you promise to make it right, but they screwed me even more when I went back! I wanted Gap insurance on my vehicle and the GM at the time showed me the paperwork for the gap insurance! He even showed me my so called gap insurance policy! Well I needed to use my gap insurance and I was told that there was no gap insurance on my jeep however they said it was on the 2016 Ford escape that they had sold me before the jeep that was a complete lemon and I could’ve taken them for a litigation mediation because they did break the lemon law however I didn’t have the $700 to pay for the mediator because I was just ripped off by Chevy Pride! Then I called the dealership multiple times for 23 weeks trying to reach the finance manager I left several voicemails and I never got a call back! As far as I’m concerned the way they operate is once they get your money they don’t give a crap about you anymore they got what they wanted and now you can be on your way basically! I also know someone else that they did the exact same thing too. Now when it comes to the loan they told me the second time when I brought the Ford escape back a year and a half later because they finally caught the finance manager and the general manager scamming customers somehow with the bank and giving customers loans that wouldn’t be paid off for like 20 to 30 years because of the way the interest rates work. Also I was lied to again when I was told that on the jeep renegade that they gave me when they took the Ford escape back but didn’t give me my $8000 cash that I put down on the floor to skate back towards the jeep, but anyway I was told that due to our credit we knew the interest-rate was going to be high however the GM told us she had great news that the interest rate wasn’t going to be 21% like it was on the Ford escape that he got it down to 11.1% NG said he knew it was still high but it was better than what we were paying and I said no absolutely that’s great! Well come to find out the interest rate is 21%. I also had asked the salesman to not sell me a previously rented vehicle so they show me two cars and they tell me that I can only pick between those two cars which was at first the Florida scape and another car that was all scratched up and was a nightmare so reluctantly I chose a Ford escape, but I thought once your approved for a loan you can pick any car on their lot that’s within my loan terms. Nope they told me I had to pick between those two vehicles. I also asked if I could go to the other Pride dealerships the Kia the Hyundai and the salesman and the manager told me no you don’t want to go down there we got everything down here for the best inventory I said yeah but I’d really like to go take a look down there and they just wouldn’t take me to another dealership probably because they would have to split the commission with somebody else! So back to them selling me a rental a previous rental when I asked them please don’t they didn’t tell me that my Ford escape was a previous rental until I did all the paperwork the last thing I had to sign was the title and they put the title in front of me and the kid put his hand on the title as if he was holding it for me so I could sign it well he didn’t have a pen on them which he had to go get one now so he took the title and he put it on the other side of his desk so I got up and took a look at the title and what he was covering was a stamp from Hertz rental!When he came back with the pan I showed him the title and I said what’s going on and I said you were covering the Hertz stamp and sold me a car that was a previously rented vehicle when I asked you not to and that was one of the first things I mentioned when I came to the dealership to look at vehicles! Then I had an issue with service and how the code was coming on in the Ford escape within two weeks of me having the vehicle and they told me when the code comes on to drive it like that to the dealership so they can get a diagnostic code and they’ll know how to fix it. So I got the code one morning I drove it to Pride Chevy service the guy said don’t worry I’ll take care of it he put the diagnostic in the car the code came out the code that I had been telling them what is the code I was getting, but anyway he said that he was going to enter the code in the computer order the part and he would call me by Tuesday and I would bring my car in and they would fix it well come Friday I called service and they tell me he’s been terminated and they look in the computer they tell me no code has been entered and no part was ordered! So when they finally fired the GM Jim Atkins and the finance manager Eric White who were scamming people! I tried to call Chevy pride in regards to the Ford escape S you time and time and time again and I receive no calls back so Jim Adkins told me that it was a done deal and there was nothing more they could do and I told him that he violated the lemon law or the dealership dead I’ve spoken to the proper state authorities already and he laughed in my face and walked away, very professional huh! When they finally fired that finance manager and general manager and hired a new GM and finance manager I tried getting in touch with them and I was still getting no call back as soon as I left a review about my experience I was called back within five minutes! To make a very very long story short they did the same exact thing to me again and told me that none of the 8000 that I put down on the Ford escape would be put towards a new vehicle none of it even though the vehicle was a lemon and they were willing to take it back pay off the loan and help me finance a new car but now I had zero to put down instead of the 8000 I started with because their car was a lemon! So like I said the same thing happens all over again this time they told me I could pick any car on the lot but we didn’t have good credit so it would be expensive especially with no money down! So I picked a 2016 jeep renegade and didn’t put gap insurance on it like I requested and was very adamant about and we showed documents that it was put on my vehicle but it wasn’t I spoke to the bank and they looked at the paperwork and it said NA regarding gap insurance. I was also lied to and deceived on the interest-rate and I was also deceived on the loan on the whole loan they told me the loan that I had originally gotten was the worst loan interest adds up every day it would take me forever to pay it off they’ll take care of me will guess what they gave me the same loan and told me they didn’t and I have never missed a payment or been late on a payment and yet I’m still upside down in the loan and nobody understands how that happened, Except maybe because when you pay 500 and something dollars as a payment and $300 of that payment goes to interest and only 200 of it goes to the principal so yeah they really took care of me the second time also just like they did the first time so just a warning to everybody not to shop for a car at any Pride dealership in my opinion!
