I used USAA buying car service to get a quote on a 528i, I was happy with the discount off MSRP, but I figured that the dealership would make it up on the trade-in. Boy, I was very wrong. I had been looking for sometime for the perfect car , and had gotten shafted out of several potential purchases d/t being an out of town sale. Josh was great and knew I was serious about the car , enough to give me the opportunity to buy it first, despite the distance factor. I am sure they had several inquiries on this car and could have made a local cash sale but they didn't. Michael was great in setting up financing and getting me the paperwork quickly . They even sent me a bottle of wine to celebrate receiving my new Z3! I live in St Louis and bought from BMW San Antonio and I would buy from them again, really the best experience I have ever had buying a car. Car arrived looked brand new ... SO HAPPY! More
After shopping around for a new car, I just couldn't find a current design I liked better than what BMW offers. After inquiring about their internet pricing I was contacted by the SA Jeff Cartwright. We went back and forth a few times before he was able to get me a price I was happy with and I made my deposit, drove to San Antonio, and picked up the car. About a week after purchasing the car I noticed some paint defects in the front bumper. Called back my SA to see what we could do about it and drove the car back to the dealer. They were not able to fix the car to my satisfaction so I was a little irritated at this point. Thinking that my only option was to be one of those annoying causing a scene type customers that I refuse to be, I wasn't sure how to handle the situation. Then the car had a drivetrain malfunction. You have to keep in mind that the dealer doesn't make the car, they are only responsible for selling their inventory and supporting the product. I blame any and all problems on BMW, but having a quality dealer to work through the issues with is key to being happy with your purchase. Jeff and the rest of the team at BMW SA did an excellent job of bringing the car back in and getting the drivetrain malfunction resolved as well as doing an excellent job on the paint. I've never done automotive painting or paint repair myself, but I've worked plenty on modifying cars and being at body shops. I don't know how they did it, but they got rid of the pits in the paint and made it smooth and shiny like a new car. I'm very happy with the support this dealer provided and the attention that my SA, Jeff Cartwright, gave to the repair of this car. The rest of the staff I dealt with at BMW SA were also very attentive. Michael King, sales manager, Andrew Kim, Asst Service Manager, and Rodney Rice (dealership manager?). I would recommend this dealer to anyone looking for a BMW. Service was top notch and now that all of the issues with the vehicle have been resolved I couldn't be happier with it. If I remain in the same location then I'll definitely be using BMW San Antonio in the future. Hopefully you don't have any problems with the car, but if you do these guys will take care of you for sure. More

Josh was our first point of contact and was very informative and helpful when we first went to look at the vehicle. since we weren't ready to buy just then the vehicle we went to look at sold, but Josh kept us abreast of their inventory and when we were ready helped us with a car that was actually a better deal than the one we first looked at. On the day we went in to make the purchase Josh was busy with another customer, but instead of making us wait he brought Tim to help us with the sale. Everything went very smoothly, all the paperwork was a breeze thanks to Craig and when the car was brought to us, Tim went over all the particulars and awesome features of the car. We are very happy to do business with BMW of San Antonio and will definitely do it again. By the way we drove up from Corpus Christi, TX to buy this car if that tells you anything! More

He was welcoming without being pushy, informative without inundating my husband and me with countless details, patient without seeming "put upon," and extremely efficient and accommodating. Our buying experience was excellent, in large part because of Frank Jiang's service and attention to detail. He was quick to follow up, answered the questions we had after purchase, demonstrated some of the features that had us perplexed, and was an otherwise exemplary representative of the BMW San Antonio team. He answered all my questions and tailored my choice based on the features/financial situation i presented to him. he kept me in loop and kept in touch. i wasn't committed to purchase this car until December. but he kept emailing me and informed me of a great discount that is in place right now and had me come to the dealership. i bought the car the same day. he has been really helpful all this time and actually dropped my old car, all the way to Boerne, about 35 mins drive from the dealership with the help of his co-worker MIke. I recommend Tim highly based on his service and i would always come to him for all my future purchases/questions. Thank you Tim very much. More
