He was informed, not pushy, helpful and attentive. However, the rest of the experience was the worst. First of all we were promised a quick transaction that ended up taking nearly five hours. Then the finance person, Brandon, was not knowledgeable and could not answer our questions and referred us to the manager who was patronizing and condescending in responding to our questions. We almost walked out in the middle of that conversation but we were too eager to get out of there. Weeks went by and we never received paperwork from either the financing institution or Priority concerning payments , etc. It was two days before our first payment, we surmised, would be due and still no word and my phone calls and emails were not returned. I did everything possible to get this transaction in order with no help from the dealership. The finance person, Jerome, promised to return my calls and did not so I called what I thought was the proposed financing agency and they had no record of our transaction. In one instance that I did get the finance person , Jerome, on the phone he gave the excuse for all the delay in getting our paperwork in to the finance company as their "being backed up." Eventually we did hear from the corporate dealership office with a letter informing us that we would be turned over to collections if our payment was not made within five days!!! We would be turned over to collections, mind you, when we had done everything possible to get this straightened out!!! I was so angry and did get the finance person on the phone again and really let him know what I thought about the whole transaction. To top this whole bad experience off , we were informed during the purchasing process that our personal property tax would be due next June as usual. We made the purchase this June 2015. However, we just got a bill from the city of Chesapeake on Oct. 12 informing us that our property tax was due by October 29!! And it was a large amount! I have already informed this dealership that we would never purchase from them again because of this experience and that we would be turning our leased car in just as soon as our obligation was met. I hate to write bad reviews but this last thing with the personal property tax was just too much. There are other dealerships that are much better informed and better at servicing their customers so we will be looking for one of those next time. More

DON'T DO IT If you are looking for a new Honda, don't go to this dealership. I was at the dealership from 3:00 until closing when I purchased my CRV. I was aske If you are looking for a new Honda, don't go to this dealership. I was at the dealership from 3:00 until closing when I purchased my CRV. I was asked to pre-pay the first month's lease payment, something I have never been asked to do by any other dealership. I purchased the car on July 27 and assumed the pre-paid payment was for the month of August. Wrong! I was just informed by Honda Financial that I am responsible for the entire month of July even though I only had the car for three days during that month. Yes, I should have examined the lease agreement a bit closer, but at 9:00 p.m., after sitting at the dealership for six hours, I guess my assumption they were trustworth was incorrect. I was not told I would be paying for the entire month of July to drive the car for three days during that momth. That being the case, even a moron would have waited until August 1 to make the purchase. They were slow in paying off an existing load I had on the car I traded in and when they finally did pay if off, they overpaid by almost $500.00. It took a month to have the overpayment refunded. As for the service department, I had an remote starter installed by the dealership. Their shuttle service was supposed to give me a ride home. That never happened. I waited the five hours it took for the installation, then receive a call on my cell phone telling me I could come and pick up my car. Interesting, since I was still in the waiting area. The person who showed me how to use the remote had no idea how it worked. The dealership as a whole seems unorganized, understaffed, and worried more about making a sale than making sure the customer is informed and satisfied. Never before have I filed a complaint with the BBB, but believe me when I say, this time I will. I can say without reservation that this is the last car I will every purchase from Priority. The CRV is a great car, but I am sure you can find a more reputable dealership. More

I used the Internet to contact to the dealership and Joe Jehoich emailed me right back. I was able to do pretty much all of the negotiations via email. Once I went to the dealership, Joe had all my paperwork ready and I was out the door in an hour! My car was even detaied and looked great. Impressive to say the least! Just one thing to say, "Costumer for life." Thanks Joe, I lovey Accord ! More

Maintenance scam Run from this place. My 75-year-old mother went in to get recall work done. While there, they tried to hit her up for thousands of dollars in work, m Run from this place. My 75-year-old mother went in to get recall work done. While there, they tried to hit her up for thousands of dollars in work, most of which she had JUST HAD DONE at another dealer. When she told them she had just had the word done, their response: "Well, we'll just tick those off the list." What the heck??? They saw what they thought was an easy target and tried to take advantage. LIttle did they know she keeps detailed records of all car maintenance and knew a scam when she saw one. "Go, Mom!". Shame on you, Priority. You should learn a lesson from my Acura dealer. One time I took them a list of $1800 worth of work my tire guy said I needed done. Their response: :"Ma'am, the only thing on this list that needs done is to change your wiper blades." That's a trusted dealership. And why I went to them even for oil changes. Priority just sees a buck, not a customer they want to take care of. More
You want to know Jack I can't say enough good things about my experience buying a Honda Odyssey from Jack Babashanian this weekend. After my previous experience buying a ca I can't say enough good things about my experience buying a Honda Odyssey from Jack Babashanian this weekend. After my previous experience buying a car I was hoping that I would never have to walk onto a car lot ever again. However, this weekend Jack showed me what buying a car SHOULD be like. His low pressure, friendly approach made the process painless. His sense of humor set the tone for the day and made my wife and I feel like we were just taking a ride with a friend who knows a lot about cars. Not only did we enjoy working with him to pick out a car, we were impressed with how quickly he was able to get us out the door and on our way home. If you're in the market for a car I highly recommend you reach out Jack (jbabashanian@priorityauto.com). More
Frustrating experience from start to finish In the interest of fairness to Priority Dealerships I would just like to note that I have had nothing but good things to say about Priority Honda in H In the interest of fairness to Priority Dealerships I would just like to note that I have had nothing but good things to say about Priority Honda in Hampton. However, the Chesapeake Dealership left much to be desired. We were in the market for a Honda Odyssey. The trim line that we wanted was not available on the lot. They guaranteed us that they could get us a van from another dealership. We just had to pay a $500 deposit for the transfer. They told us that once the vehicle was here, they would refund us the $500. We put the deposit on a credit card since it was being refunded. They asked if we wanted to apply this money as a down payment. We told them that we did not want to because the credit card rate was much higher than the loan we would be getting. They agreed that it made more sense to finance that $500 at 2.25% than whatever the credit card rate was. The next day, they call and tell us they can't find us a van. I was pretty upset because we had walked away from a deal on a Toyota Sienna because they guaranteed they would find us an Odyssey. I told them to refund our deposit and we would take our business elsewhere. They called about an hour later and told me that they found us a van and it would be there the next day. We went the next day and filled out all the paperwork and picked up our brand new Odyssey. As we were leaving, we asked if they had refunded the $500 deposit yet. They had not, but swore it would be taken care of that night. Fast forward to last week when our credit card bill comes. Low and behold, there is a $500 charge from Priority Honda. My wife called to inquire and they told her that a manager would contact her. She received a call from a manager that apologized for the mistake, and told her he would take care of it personally. A few hours later, I receive a calf from the same manager telling me that there will be no refund because the $500 was applied as a down payment. I had the same discussion again about why anyone would put $500 down on a credit card. He agreed that it made no sense. His suggestion was to call the bank and see if they could reissue a check for the amount plus the $500. He had no other suggestions on how to fix the problem. He did not give us our $500 back, and made no concessions to try to make us feel a little better about being hosed. He just apologized. I don't believe that their actions were malicious. I do believe that they are just simply incompetent. When you are making the number of deals that they make, keeping track of numbers is essential! So, for future car purchases, we will steer clear of this dealership and spend our hard earned dollars elsewhere. More
