Knowledgeable Employees I chose Progressive Chevrolet from the yellow pages, and I had no idea what to expect. First off, I was able to schedule an appointment online, which I chose Progressive Chevrolet from the yellow pages, and I had no idea what to expect. First off, I was able to schedule an appointment online, which was really great. I arrived on time and was greeted by Service Advisor Patrick Kline. I expressed my concern about my passenger seat not being able to adjust forward or backwards. Patrick quickly went to work on the issue. To my surprise he found that there was also recall on my vehicle, and was able to explain exactly what the recall was and how it could effect the operation of my vehicle. There was very little paperwork to complete, the vehicle was quickly taken into the service area, and in no time at all it was ready. Patrick was able to explain what was fixed on my vehicle, and that really impressed me. Progressive Chevrolet has just won over a new customer, and I will definately refer my friends and family. We got it started and took it straight to Jay.Later in the afternoon he couldn't find the problem, but didn't think it was safe to take to S.C. Jay helped arrange a rental for us and we left the next morning on time.Thanks to Jay we had a great vacation with no car worries. We have purchased 8 cars here over the years and the main reason we keep coming back is the service department.Thanks again Jay! More
Going above and beyond for their customers On July 1st I went in for an oil change. What I was not expecting was my rear breaks to be completely unusable and kind of floating around in there, o On July 1st I went in for an oil change. What I was not expecting was my rear breaks to be completely unusable and kind of floating around in there, or for my rotors to be rusted and chipped beyond repair. What I had expected to be a low 30 dollar bill soon turned into almost 400 dollars worth of work. My service advisor Patrick made sure to keep me informed with every detail along the way and could see my day going from good to worse every time he came to speak with me. Knowing that I had purchased my car in 2014 from them he started speaking with the managers and owner, which lead to me meeting with one of the service managers and then the owner as they told me they were going to cover everything but my oil change that I had come in for, stating that the car should not have left the lot in the condition that it had with the rear rotors and that they were indeed sorry about the inconvenience and hoped this would help. Needless to say, everyone that I spoke with that day, especially Patrick went above and beyond during my visit to the dealership! And I am extremely grateful! More
great service I was having starting problems with my 2002 Chevy impala. So i took it to Jay Johnson. Between him and the mechanic Dan they solved my problem. General maintenance Since I've been going to Progressive Chevrolet, (about 10 years) Jay has always been friendly and cooperative. I've never had a problem getting ahold Since I've been going to Progressive Chevrolet, (about 10 years) Jay has always been friendly and cooperative. I've never had a problem getting ahold of him or getting an answer back from him in a reasonable amount of time. I've never had any issues when dealing with Jay. The only concern I've ever had at the dealership was when my car tires were rotated and the service mechanic forgot to reset the tire pressure gauges to match where the tires were located on the car. This was corrected with no problem. More
