I come to rely on Progressive Chevrolet for parts and service for my personal vehicle. Todays thoughts will be directed to the outstanding service provided by Mr. Jay Johnson and service staff related service for my personal vehicle. Todays thoughts will be directed to the outstanding service provided by Mr. Jay Johnson and service staff related to the service of my employer provided vehicle. I operate a 2008 GM vehicle (employer provided) daily and exceed 25,000 miles per year. As with most employers today, budget constraints are a way of daily operations. Simply, vehicle maintenance is never a priority. The problem with the '08 unit was ongoing and exceeded two years. Armed with data from a number of internet searches my employer was convinced the problem was a design malfunction which was beyond repair. Based on my prior experience with the service dept at Progressive Chevrolet, I convinced my employer to let me approach Mr Jay Johnson with this vehicle concern. Mr Jay Johnson worked closely with middle management staff members of my employer to address this concern. Tuesday January 3, 2012 at 9am, the unit arrived at the dealership. At 4pm the same day my employer directed my to pick up the unit. I am happy to announce the unit is 100% repaired. Mr Jay Johnson has a positive "can do" attitude, works well with middle management team members of outside corporate staff and maintains the best interest of GM, Progressive Chevrolet, and faithful longtime customers. I HAVE WORKED WITH SHERRY LONGWILL FOR SEVERAL YEARS. SHE HAS ALWAYS GONE OUT OF HER WAY TO MAKE SURE THAT MY VEHICLE WAS PROPERLY CARED FOR. SHE ALWAYS KEEPS ME INFORMED OF ANY DELAYS IN SEVICING MY CAR SHE HAS ALWAYS GONE OUT OF HER WAY TO MAKE SURE THAT MY VEHICLE WAS PROPERLY CARED FOR. SHE ALWAYS KEEPS ME INFORMED OF ANY DELAYS IN SEVICING MY CAR. ALSO MAKES SURE THAT I HAVE A SUITABLE VEHICLE ON THOSE OCASSIONS WHEN THERE IS A DELAY DUE TO LACK OF PARTS. MY FIRST DEAING WITH SHERRY WAS OVER 15 YEARS AGO WHEN SHE WORKED IN CANTON, OHIO. WHEN THAT DEALERSHIP WAS SOLD AND EVENTUALLY MOVED TO MASSILLON, I FOLLOWED HER TO MASSILLON. SHE WAS SUBSEQENLY TRANSFERRED FROM THE CADILLAC OPERATIONS TO THE CHEVEROLET DEALERSHIP, I FOLLOWED HER EVEN THOUGH I HAVE A CADILLAC. More
I live right beside serpentini and will not go to them for anything Progressive is my shop will always be my shop!!!! The reason for a good on price is because it was a headlamp that needed replaced and w for anything Progressive is my shop will always be my shop!!!! The reason for a good on price is because it was a headlamp that needed replaced and we can't help that the bulb for my car was $30.00 We can always wish for cheaper but you and I don't have a choice on what the manufacturer charges for parts. This is the first time I have used your service department. I had a great expereience with Fred - he was helpful, efficient and overall a good first impression. I had our 2002 Yukon in for some e department. I had a great expereience with Fred - he was helpful, efficient and overall a good first impression. I had our 2002 Yukon in for some electrical issues (dashboard lighting, rear windshield wipers/seat heaters). After finding out the price to replace most of the items, I chose only to replace the necessary item (wiper) as this was mostly a safety issue. The reason I did not choose to fix the others items is based on price and age of the vehicle. This had nothing to do with service, but more a personal choice. I plan on returning to the dealership for any future work or repairs. More
