The staff reached out regularly to try and close a deal, and they initially removed some dealer add-ons after I made it clear I wouldn’t pay for them. I decided to hold off, but last night I was contacted by Taylor Blankenship, who claimed the “market had been back and forth” and that the car was now listed on their website at $37,850, when just a few days earlier, it was listed at $36,997.) He then sent me a sales order that included over $1,000 in dealer add-ons ((that had previously been removed) including a second key, which they claimed was an add-on). He told me he’d sell the car for $37,000 out the door. This was an outright lie, as the car is actually listed at $35,749 on the website right now. If you can’t trust a sales rep to be honest about something as simple as the listed price (which anyone can verify online), it makes you wonder what else they might be dishonest about, like the car’s history or other details. In the DFW metroplex, there are plenty of car dealerships. I strongly suggest finding one that’s trustworthy. Honesty and integrity matter. More
