"Best car buying experience"
This was the best car buying experience I ever had. The entire staff was very professional and the facility is wonderful. The sales agent was not pushy and we were able to find a great vehicle at a good price.
"Ordered a new teuck"
Herb Denton at providence autos honestly gave me the best dealer experience ive had yet.. I waited a while for my new truck to come in but when it did i drove 2.5 hrs to providence autos and was literally out of there in 45 min.. they were quick and professional and made a great deal with me.. Thanks again Herb.....
My sales experience with Herb Denton, my salesman, was great, He was a great guy to work with so I'm happy there. However, I'm wondering about the service department.
I purchased a GMC Sierra a few weeks ago. When we took it for a test drive, the A/C wasn't working. The salesman and I both chalked it up to being colder whether at the time and the service dept. not checking it.
Then, when we went to pick it up, we noticed the passenger side mirror auto adjust wasn't working, but the A/C was. I was told it needed a charge and there were no leaks.
Upon leaving, they promised to fix the mirror, which was fine, although I'd have to bring the truck back in at a later date.
After taking the truck home, we noticed areas that were dirty, some mud on the side panel, wheel wells dirty, other things. It seems the vehicle wasn't detailed, which I thought was standard practice when prurchasing. Plus, a few days later when we tried the A/C, it's not working again.
So, bottom line, it's been difficult getting the truck back in for service due to my work schedule and playing phone tag with my salesman, and they've promised to take care of everything and they do seem sincere. However, these issues make me think the service department here is not so thorough.
