Laura, we regret to hear that we were unable to service your vehicle to your satisfaction. It is disappointing to know that despite our best efforts and attempts to assist you and purchase a quality vehicle here, you had decided to go to another dealership and come out with a less favorable outcome. Our intentions were to provide you with all potential options suited to your best interests in a straightforward and honest manner. It is unfortunate that the benefits charged to you by the other dealer were never entered into Ford's system by that dealer and thus we were unable to use the benefits. Regardless of the outcome, we are always available for assistance and would like to continue to be there for you and all your future vehicle needs. If you would like to speak with me regarding this matter in more detail, please reach out to David Eadie at 540-898-3000 x416 at your earliest convenience. Take care.

I was not reviewing the fact that you did not help me. I realize that it is not purvis' fault that the dealer I chose (that still saved me loads of money) sold me a warranty to their dealership only, I was reviewing the lack of customer service and respect your employee showed my husband and me. And I regret that you guys employee people like that long term.

Thank you for responding and clarifying your concern. I did have a conversation with our employee and he does regret his comments. He does take great pride in customer service and treating customers fairly and honestly. He was more upset with the process at the other dealership and he let it get the better of his judgment. If we can assist you in the future, please let me know. Thank you David Eadie

My name is Thomas Linnehan I'm the Service Manager here at Purvis Ford and I would like to apologize on what had happened on the last visit you had here.. Myself ,Greg and the shop foreman read your concerns and we understand that you are frustrated on the last several visits. I take all concerns to heart as Customer Service is one of my main Goals here at the dealership. Only being here for a short time as I started her in September of 2014 I want you to know that these types of issues should not be happening. Talking to Greg he told me that you did ask for the brakes to be inspected and not to have the tires rotated he could have written the ticket up as such.. Oil change, multipoint inspection. brake inspection,.in stead of a Works Package and noting no tire rotation. This is were the confusion with the tech came in.. not doing a brake inspection because the tires were not rotated. Also I understand that you had some Owner Advantage Rewards that could not be used because they had expired do to inactivity. The program rewards the customer 5% on any retail dollars spent here at our Dealership but will expire after an year if not used do to inactivity. I would like to reinstate your account so those rewards dollars will be available for you and as well a Free oil change will also be added to your account. Please accept my apologizes again and hoping to earn your trust again here at Purvis Ford Lincoln. I can be reached here Monday thru Friday 7am to 7pm if you have any questions. Thank you Thomas Linnehan Service Manager Purvis Ford Lincoln 540-710-1400

I do appreciate Your response and offer. While I am extremely leery of bringing my Excursion back to Pervis Ford for anything, ever, I will consider your offer. I also want to add a point here. Gregg was the nice guy. He did his job and even fixed the break check problem by having the brakes checked. So, please do not punish him in any way. Please make sure his service teammates are as on key as he is. Also, please make sure there are no "Anti - Ford" people working in a capacity to interact with the general public. I know that as a Ford owner, Ford enthusiast, and as a huge life-long fan of the Ford company; I do not ever want to encounter an ant Ford attitude at a Ford dealer. It should be a Ford fan safe zone. Again, I really do appreciate your response and I hope you understand my concerns. Thanks Terry Mann

I am sorry that you are still having problems with your 2000 Excursion. When you originally brought it in with 130K miles with concerns of intermittent rough idle and shakes on acceleration, we recommended several maintenance items performed. You selected to have some of the recommended work done, but not all. When we removed the intake, the clip for the cruise control did brake (not uncommon on a 15 year old vehicle with 130k miles), and we did order the parts and repair it. When you (your wife) brought it back 800 miles later again with intermittent shaking , we drove it approximately 60 miles trying to get it to act up, which it did not. Your wife said it does not happen all the time. Would having the additional maintenance performed fix the problem, we would be willing to try. I know that your time is valuable and weekdays are hard for you as you need your vehicle to get to work. Andrew did try and arrange an appointment on a Saturday but something must have come up as you were not able to make that day. We would like to try and resolve this issue and if you would call Andrew Tom (the service manager) we will try to make a time and work within your budget to get your Excursion running to your satisfaction.
