Service department is terrible, new car bought on a Saturday agreed to pick up on Tuesday at 11:30 we arrived at 11:30 and still had to wait 3 hours before car was ready. After my truck was serviced and had the air bag replaced. I picked it up and when driving it away noticed that the airbag light was on. This caused me to return to the service bay find the servic replaced. I picked it up and when driving it away noticed that the airbag light was on. This caused me to return to the service bay find the service advisor and explain what was going on. Then I had another wait while my truck was being diagnosed and repaired. It turned out the mechanic had not properly plugged the new airbag in and hadn't checked the dash to see it his work was correct. I also asked for the interior filter to be replaced and it was not done. I've had this truck serviced at Quebedeaux since it was new and I can positively say that the service dept. has gone downhill. This place has provided me nice service. Their service finished on schedule as their employees stated. They managed to squeeze a last minute request, in which they humbly accepted. I took my truck in for a regular interval oil and fuel filter change. I asked them to also check the front end cause it seemed to pull to the right, possibly needing a front end alignment. That was all good and great, I do not mind sitting there for two to two and a half hours waiting time, as that what they informed me it would take. After sitting for two hours, I got up to stretch and noticed my truck was not taken back yet. I asked someone at the desk what was going on and they informed me that my truck had a recall that was going to take six to eight hours. Why was not the customer informed up front? They were going to let me sit there for an entire day without informing me? The block heater as it turns out had already been replaced at an earlier recall, but my understanding is that there is an electrical problem and it needed replacement, yet again? This was not, and has yet to be explained to me. Customers need to be informed fully, upfront of delays in service so that other arrangements can be made ahead of time for planning purposes. I drive eighty miles for service, and planning is of utmost importance for keeping my truck in tiptop shape. Yes, very poor customer service is deserving of a poor star rating. I cannot rate the quality of work, they say and charged me appropriately for the work, but was it really performed by a qualified technician? I drove the truck home and parked it. More
