For context: I always wanted a truck and have been driving higher end cars such as BMW, Mercedes, and Land Rover. I did my research online and decided the F150 Platinum loaded in the Ruby red was the truck I wanted. The Ford website is actually very good because it allows you to find the truck and option you want and the price or lease you should pay for that truck. I live in Braintree so my 1st stop was Herb Chambers Ford - again, no details, but they gave me a price that was $270 higher than the web site quote and didn't even have the exact truck I was looking for - I immediately walked out as Keith (finance) chased me saying "it was only my 1st price - we can negotiate". Being very upset and still wanting my truck I called Quick Ford and got Dan Revere on the phone - this guy was no BS and no games, absolutely awesome!!!!! I told him what I wanted and he quoted me over the phone - almost the same price from the web site. The next day I drove to Quirk and met Dan and Duane Greenidge - both we extremely knowledgable, friendly and (Most of all) HONEST! They gave me fair value for my trade, which the other dealers did too, but they found me the truck I wanted (exactly) with 5K in more options than the Herb Chambers truck and $250 less a month than Herb Chambers. Yes - this was Quirk's 1st offer and I took it because i could feel that they we not playing game like Herb Chambers. I can not say enough about my total experience - my wife and I have 3 kids we need to take to pick up the car - Duane played 2 roles - making me feel absolutely comfortable with every option on the Truck and entertained my 3 kids. Duane is the real deal - honest, integrity, and great guy to work with. Dan Revere (manger) set the tone for the entire amazing experience - and when was the last time anyone said buying a car or truck was an amazing experience - right - Duane and Dan made it that way! Like most, I used to dread buying a car because of the way you can be treated - Herb Chambers proved that to still be the case- but Quick showed me it can be a human experience. Thank you!!!! As for residents of Braintree - I would pay for your gas if you make the ride to Quirk and don't have the same experience - don't waste your time at Herb Chambers Ford unless you have time and money to waste!
