Took my RAM 1500 for a oil change. I had a coupon for two oil changes for $135. Service guy says that can't honor the coupon because it has to be done during the week and Dealership I had a coupon for two oil changes for $135. I then proceeded to look another COUPON online through Rainbow, for two oil changes for $145.. He again said, "that he couldn't honor the coupon because it was a weekend and a contract has to be drawn up". The ad clearly said it was a coupon. How is one to know that these "coupons" can only be valid during the week? He then proceeded to go ahead and verbally give me a oil change for $72.50. I agreed, since that was the cost for one oil change in the coupon. He then proceeded to advise me on my brake fluid color and draining/flushing of the system. Brake fluid was very dark and should be drained and flushed. I went ahead with the draining and flushing of the brake lines at $150.00 plus tax. Furthermore, I had the tires rotated for $25.00. When we totaled the bill, service guy ended up charging my $95 for the oil change, which was not the agreed upon price. Needless to say I paid it, reluctantly. But not before questioning the amount. He then proceeded to say that I was aggressive for asking about the oil change price. Lastly, I received the truck in a not so clean condition from, what I assume, was the mechanics work. I need to mention that the seat adjusted and not set back to its owners position. I always service my truck with Rainbow of Covington, not spending my money there again. Where is Wayne? Here’s a real review for you. I’m sure they’ll hide it so customers can’t see how they really perform. Bought a WAGONEER from this dealership. Dealer scratched the wheel on a test drive and is steadily coming up with reasons not to fix it. There is no general manager and only one person, who happens to be on vacation, that can make decisions. Brian, the service manager, was very dismissive with my wife and has no desire to make things right with customer. He only gives excuses. Asked about the owner but apparently he’s not available and doesn’t talk to customers. Avoid this dealer at all cost. More
Overcharge me $50 per tire for 4 tires but won't tell me what type of tires they are putting on my car to comparison shop. Give me no loaner even though I have the best warranty and then keep my vehicle for what type of tires they are putting on my car to comparison shop. We took in our Pacifica to diagnose auto start/stop issues. They replaced a battery terminal and told us it was fixed. 2 days later we had to jump the car to bring it back in. They claimed it was a issues. They replaced a battery terminal and told us it was fixed. 2 days later we had to jump the car to bring it back in. They claimed it was a dead battery, so I replaced the battery. When I brought in the "dead" battery, the auto parts place said the battery was good. The next day the car would not start with the new battery, even with a jump. We wound up towing it elsewhere to get properly fixed. More
